Geraldine made us feel at home straight away with a cuppa & a chat. We arrived well ahead of time, but were received without fuss or hesitation. Our room was lovely & we had plenty of breakfast options. Geraldine provided lots of tips for places to visit in Galway & the surrounding area. We had become very comfortable at Geraldine's & were sorry to be leaving after only 2 days. We found it a bit tricky locating the house - in a quiet residential area - by car, initially. It was then convenient to use the city bus service (bus stop nearby) for getting around town. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at Geraldine's.
Me and my friend Ira had a wonderful time staying with Geraldine. She is an excellent host and a really lovely and attentive person as well. At our arrival Geraldine hearty welcomed us with a nice cup of tea and home made scones.
Beside the interesting conversations with Geraldine and Pat, they also had good advises and tips for us what's unmissable and worthwhile in Galway's surrounding area.
Our room and shared bathroom were very clean and comfortable. For breakfast we had a plenty of choice and everything was delicious and invigorating. We were also allowed to use the kitchen and living room on our own to relax and feel at home.
We couldn't have wished for a better accommodation in Galway! Thank you, Geraldine, for making our stay perfect! :-)
We had a wonderful stay at Geraldine's in Galway. The location was excellent, just a quick drive to city center. Geraldine met us with a nice cup of tea and prepared a nice spread for breakfast to help get our day started. We could not have asked (email hidden) during our stay in Galway - we definitely recommend you stay here during your trip in Galway! Thanks, Geraldine!
accueil très sympathique et généreux.
Unfortunately we only spent two days in Galway with Geraldine! Geraldine is a unique person, hospitable, friendly and (email hidden). On our arrival at home she gaves us a cup of tea and we immediately felt at home. We have had many opportunities to talk and we passed with her some excellent moments. The house is clean and welcoming. If we ever go back to Galway we definitely would come back to Geraldine!
Geraldine and her family were very nice people. Polite, helpful and friendly.
The house was wonderful and clean. The tips they gave us were perfect. Made our journey even better.
The breakfast was always great and we had some nice chats.
We would recommend this place very much! Thank you!
it was a real pleasure to be in your home; I recommand your adress for people who travel in galway
Geraldine is a really nice and helpful person. She picked us up from the bus stop, than we had a great chat with a cup of tea.
She always prepared a big breakfast for us, and you could choose whatever you wanted.
She gave us ideas where to go and what to see.
I really recommend staying with her!
Thank you for everything again!
Geraldine is the most kind and gracious host, and perhaps one of the most sincere people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I could not have asked for a better experience during my stay in Galway. Ger and Pat were very forthcoming with suggestions and expertise about the area and Ireland in general. The room was perfect, and the location is ideal. I hope to stay with them again very soon!
Geraldine is a most charming and welcoming host. A cup of tea and home made scones after a long day's driving really makes you feel at home. Breakfast was great, bedroom clean and cosy. Great place to stay.
