John was very spontaneous when we came later and also was he very helpful. He gave us some good advices for trips around the area. The place is very clean and gives a feeling of home. We enjoyed the stay at Johns a lot. We recommend it perfectly for a stay in this area.
john is probably the happiest person you've ever met. there's seriously a smile on his face everytime you see him. you can guess at his traveling experience because his hostel is just optimized at every corner. i think i've never seen a hostel as clean as his.
John nous a accueilli les bras ouverts, de bon conseil quant à notre séjour. Le B&B est bien situé et idéalement placé pour visiter les environs de Killarney et les péninsules du sud ouest.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel, it was like being at home as long as you are sharing the house with respectful people. John and his father are very nice persons, their garden and animals delighted my children and John was always there when we needed him.
The twin room was perfect, quiet and comfortable. John and his father are very welcoming and their hostel is well located, near from the touristic sites of the Kerry. We spent good times in this county for our road trip in Ireland. Breakfasts with the other guests was pleasant and user friendly.
John runs a great hostel. He is an experienced traveler and that shows. I would defenitely go there again.
Lovely 2 night stay in hostel just outside of Killarney. Beautiful setting, has more of a B&B feel to it and very pleasant guests and host. Lots of beautiful chickens and a goat, nice gardens/veg plot to wander around and have a sunny breakfast in. DYI breakfast is great with good coffee, fresh eggs and incredible local bread! Many thanks.
