We had a delightful moment at John's hostel. He's a charming host, very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, we have the possibility to do our own cooking in the kitchen (which is a rare thing), and it's well located to visit Ring of Kerry and Dingle (lovely places). In short : very good address.
John was a great host. We were late, but called and he still met us at the door. The place was clean and the atmosphere warm. Breakfast is awesome - my kids loved the fresh eggs every morning. Each room has it own bath which is really special in a hostel. We had an outstanding stay and plan to retun when we visit Ireland again!
Without doubt this is a place we will visit many times and indeed have already booked for next year. Our host John and his family were so welcoming, nothing was too much bother. The house was very clean and the rooms were large and to have an on suite was amazing for this price. We had full access to a very large full equipped kitchen and lovely dinner room were we ate. On our second night we were in the garden having a BBQ and it was just beautiful. Picnic tables and chickens in the background, a huge garden. John was the perfect host, there when you need him, but giving you your own space to enjoy your holiday.
10 out of 10 for everything.
Great place to stay! Super cute hostel with comfy beds, large rooms, good breakfast, and clean! John was super nice and gave us advice on where to go and was very welcoming upon arrival. It's in a great location near both Killarney and the Gap of Dunloe. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Lovely, comfortable room in a perfect location! Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, with a wealth of local knowledge. Best bread and eggs I've tasted in Ireland!
