About
Don and I have been married for 25 years and raised two daughters and now have two wonderful granddaughters that are delighted with the inn. We are both originally from New England and I grew up in Waterford, CT just 25 mins. from the Morgan Inn. My 30 year goal was to have a B&B I have traveled throughout Europe and this is as close as I can get to the European lifestyle.. My international guests assure me that they feel completely at home and my American guests tell me it is like grandma's house. As a retired teacher I have always loved history and the arts. I was the theatre director at the local high school and directed musicals and comedies. The inn is a living museum with just enough collectibles to create a real home. I enjoy the connections inspired by the pieces of art, music, and conversations. The gardens are therapy and provide a natural serenity. I am always amazed by the kindred spirits who add to the journal pages of the inn.
