The Space

Private Master Bedroom

They always say with price you get quality. My place is definitely true in this case! San Francisco is one of the best cities to come and visit! It is also one of the highest-rated places to live... so your Airbnb experience needs to have both perspectives of not only a visitor but also a local. Look no further!! This private master bedroom is within a 6 unit Victorian Building with a young hip vibe that is geographically located in between Alamo Square and Lower Haight (a block away). It is also only a couple blocks from Hayes Valley. You will be close enough to Alamo Square with a short 5 minute walk to see the Painted Ladies, but when it really matters you’ll be steps away from great restaurants, bars and boutiques at Lower Haight and Hayes Valley! Sometimes you just want to walk from your place without taking a cab or bus to grab a drink or a bite to eat after those long days around the city.

Great for all local events, festivals and concerts! (Bay to Breakers, America’s Cup, Outside Lands, Fillmore Street Jazz Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival, Haight Street Fair, SF Gay Pride, Fleet Week, Cherry Blossom Festival, etc)

There are three other rooms in the flat but I only have one other amazing roommate that is just as welcoming to answer any questions and help make your Airbnb experience memorable. We also sometimes rent a smaller room to long term Airbnb guests so more great people to meet and share the experience with. If you're hoping for a space where you don't trust anyone, this place isn't for you. We respect your privacy and hold all guest accountable as well. :)

Since we are located literally a block away from all the action, it can be pretty lively here and there with people walking by and street action right outside our place, but it is nothing like the louder areas in SF like North Beach or the Mission.

Your Accommodation will Include:

- Private Master Bedroom with amazing bay windows
- A Full/Queen bed with fresh linens (The pillows are AMAZING - alternative down, supreme quality!) -
- Mattress has a Bed Bug Protector AND a Mattress Pad that are washed before every guest - Sleep in comfort knowing it's SUPER clean.
- Fun red CB2 loveseat to lounge on a green rug which is different from pictured since I got a new one.
- Clean shared split bathroom (toilet and shower are separated) - Towels included
- Toiletries, etc are available as needed (Shampoo, Hairdryer, etc.)
- Full access to the Kitchen with a Dining Area to eat
- Living Room (which has the TV and an Apple TV for Netflix)
- Wifi Included
- Full local guidebook upon arrival for traveling needs
- Amazing hosts that are well in tune with the full Airbnb Experience!

Muni (Bus Lines) in close walking distance-
* 22 : It is right out your door. This will take you to other areas like the Castro, Pacific Heights, Marina, Mission, Japantown, Potrero Hill, and the Fillmore District.
71 : A 2-minute walk. This will take you to Haight Ashbury, Sunset District as well as Golden Gate Park. With a quick transfer you could even go to the Golden Gate Bridge!
N Light Rail: A 5-minute walk. Go straight into Downtown and the Union Square area! (15-minute ride)

There is street parking around the neighborhood but sometimes not the easiest to find since we are such a frequently visited area! If you are driving, we’ll provide you some tips and suggestions for parking according to your needs.

Closest ones in Downtown and the Mission which have an easy transfer to one Muni line to our place. Bart is great from the Airport if you chose not to drive which I highly suggest! Let me know ahead of time about your trip and I could organize picking you up from a station for easy travel. That is not a problem :) If you are looking to go outside the city, this is always an option as well.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. I know that planning your trip is very important so I am happy to promptly respond to your messages/requests. Feel free to check out my references and reviews!! You won't be disappointed. I look forward to hosting you :)

** Sheets/comforter may be a different color/design than pictured as I have different sets to ensure you have clean linens and a comforter no matter what :)

Guest Access

If you arrive while I'm at work or out of town, I will have our lockbox ready to go with a key. We purposely have it tucked away on the side as there is a communal gate for the 6 unit building. Detailed instructions will be provided and I am always accessible! If you arrive while I'm around I'll happily meet you to get checked in.

Interaction with Guests

On the weekdays I am very very busy with work so I apologize if I'm not around too often. Always available via email, call or text and happy to give suggestions! Schedule is quite crazy 7 days a week for me, but if you want to grab dinner or drinks- we can definitely plan something! :)

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Great stay - Natasha was easy to communicate with and gave lots of recommendations. The room was located in an awesome neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurant one street away. The bathroom is at the end of a hallway and while we had no issues with it, there are a few other people living (all really interesting people!) in the apartment so be aware of that fact if you really like a lot of privacy. Thanks again so an easy stay!

  • Our stay at Fillmore was fantastic and such a great place to stay during our time in San Fran.

Our room was clean and had so much space for me and my travelling bud. Great bathroom and really cool house altogether.

The location is fantastic and just a walk away from some great shops and bars, as well as the train and bus which can take you all over the place really easily!

Natasha was a awesome friendly host, unfortunately we didn't get to see her much because of her (and our) crazy busy schedules.

Would definitely stay here if we passed through San Francisco again :-)

  • We stayed at Natasha's flat for 3 nights. The flat is amazing, very bright and clean, it makes you feel home straight away. The bed is so comfy! The location is great as well, perfect to go and explore San Francisco. We didnt meet Natasha as she was away, but everything was perfect! It is a great place to stay if you want to spend some time in the city.

  • Staying in Natasha's lovely apartment was the best introduction to San Francisco, and my US travels, I could have wished for! After an easy access to the apartment, I had literally just put down my bags when Natasha came home and invited me out with her friends for happy hour cocktails and tacos, very welcoming! The apartment is just as described (looks), the room is huge with plenty of space to simply just hang out in. Plus it's in a great location, with easy access on foot or via the bus stop, right outside, to everything you would want to see. As Natasha mentions, with it being on a main'ish road you can hear noise from the street, it didn't bother me, but for those who are light sleepers, I wouldn't let this deter you, just bring some ear plugs ;) It's well worth it. Spending 2 weeks here I felt really truly at home, and more like a local than a tourist. Unfortunately Natasha was only there for the first few days of my stay, she is a great host, always happy to recommend places or help out with any queries. Her temporary airbnb 'lodger' Joe was a pleasure to share the place with, as was the other airbnb guests who came and went. If I return to San Francisco this will definitely be the place for me!

  • Great room, sunny and fresh. Apartment is clean and spacious. Overall I think it was a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment but we hardly met anyone, so it was very intimate.
The neighborhood is amazing. Actually it was probably our favorite one in San Francisco. Also, the host proposed great recommendations for restaurants and things I do in each neighborhood and we loved all the places we tried.
Overall I would definitely go back.

  • My stay at Natasha's was great. The room was very clean and beautiful. Exactly like the pictures! The busses are just down the street so transportation is nice too. I would defenitly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit SF! Amazing city with a lovely place to get 'home' to :).

Born and raised in Hawaii but moved to California for college. Currently live in San Francisco where I work for one of the best companies in the world, Airbnb. I have been living and working in California for the past 5 years. I love shopping and trying great food! Traveling has always been a passion of mine, hence my excitement about using Airbnb. I believe that the experiences you get when traveling are some of the most priceless moments in your life. I also genuinely enjoy meeting new people and can't wait to continue meeting more through Airbnb. So far I have been to London, Paris, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Bermuda, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and a few states in the US. I look forward to my future travels!
