It's a apartment full of people & different schedules, use ear plugs if necessary. If you're a light sleeper or can't sleep on a twin mattress, this may not be the right place for you. We are a very communal/respectful group and strive to provide space for everyone to hack to their fullest potential.

I attended a conference that was being held within a 1/2 mile of Erik's place so I was happy with the arrangement even before I saw it with my own eyes. I arrived after 8 pm after a tiring travel day. I was welcomed by some fellow guests and was given a tour of the place and then settled in. I ended up eating dinner with one of the other guests that evening by chance then stopped at the nearby grocery store to pick up some food for the next few days. I had a lot of very spontaneous and interesting conversations with the guests in the evenings but also had privacy in my room so I could do some work. The home was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this setting to anyone who wants a mixture of cleanliness, comfort, adventure, and friendliness and who doesn't want to be isolated in a fancy hotel room with no access to a kitchen and no opportunity to live in community.
This is simple accommodation for the budget minded traveler. The apartment is in a very safe and convenient area close to shopping and trains. The host Erik is very responsive to questions and/or requests. Not perfect but definitely good enough for the value paid.
I didn't care for the idea of sharing a living room filled with several bunkbeds and other men sleeping in them as it reminded me of barracks life, but the price was right, it was quiet and clean, and the people were respectful. The cat was friendly and quickly took a liking to me, sleeping at the foot of my bed. There was a well-stocked kitchen that we were allowed to use as long as we cleaned up after ourselves. I would recommend Eriks home to others and I'd stay there again should circumstances warrent it.
It was enjoyable living here. Many people are in the tech industry, leading to many interesting conversations and 'collisions'. Nice area, right beside a large supermarket opened late. This is not a hotel, but more like a hostel. For the price, this place can't be beat.
Eric is a nice guy and is easy to talk to. The place is across the street from a small shopping center so it is a short walk to a grocery store, coffee shop and some restaurants.
I rented an airbed on the floor of the living room. A warning for other people coming to visit is there are several people renting air beds so don't be surprised if you see several people here. In most cases the people visiting have been very nice.
I had an very interesting chat with Erik, he is a brilliant person, his house is in a really nice place, safe and with comunication for the hiway to San Francisco (about 30 min to the city centre) , you have shop, restaurants and free parking in one minute distance walking. There were other guest like me, all of them very interesting and friendly, Im very happy because now I had new friends. I recommend you this place! Thanks a lot Erik and all the people to made me feel like at home.
