SOME more INFO:
Note: It is a 4th floor walk up. It might be a hike but once you get to the quiet top floor you will see it is worth it. That's why I moved in!
Note: I cannot receive mail or shipment for you to the apartment. There isn't a doorman to get the packages and can't be liable for anything lost. SORRY!
Note: Check in is 2PM and Check out is 12PM. It's really tough to be too flexible with this because of cleaning and other guests moving in and out. If there is a long wait and you need to store your luggage I can give recommendations where there are luggage storage in the city! But of course will try to help in any way I can.
FINAL NOTE: I am a working musician and have odd hours and am sometimes nowhere to be seen. But I am always available by phone through text or talk for any problems or questions. I feel bad if I can't spend more time with my guests and will try to relay as much as I can for them to enjoy this city as much as possible, so always feel free to ask me anything!
IF this room is booked. I have another room in the same house you can find here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1355095
You will have access to the Kitchen, Living Space, terrace off the living space, The Roof, Washer and Dryer, and the GYM.
Interaction with Guests
This apartment is all about privacy and comfort for my guests. I am out of the house working and performing very often and my room is on the 1st floor of the apartment and I can't hear anything downstairs. It's like I'm not there! But I am available if you need anything of course!!!
The neighborhood is fantastic. Quiet but has a great selection of restaurants within blocks of the house and just walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Bedford ave in Williamsburg central. This neighborhood is mostly older Italian families and I have felt very safe and sound. It also helps that the train access is so close.
Plus McCarron Park is very close and during the summer the pool is open! Plus I took my nephew to the little skate boarding park there as well.
The train is very close, only 2 blocks away, which makes it really quick and easy to get anywhere you want to go! 15 min to union square. Too much fun.
Other Things to Note
This place has been such a good home to me and have loved sharing it with visitors that appreciate a warm but lively place to rest.
Just some SIMPLE rules:
-Types of cooking can be discussed
-Try to keep your space and living space clean
-Keep your personal belonging in your room.
-If you need anything, please ask before you take or use.
-Always do your dishes
-Shoes off in the house
-Always lock the door when you leave and come into the house.
-Don't be too cautious as I want you to feel at home, but that being said, PLEASE be aware of too much noise after certain hours, it is a large loft so noise travels easily.
-Only guests who book the room can stay in the room. (No unannounced overnight sleepovers)
-Please discuss with me if you would like to have visitors to the apartment.
-No moving of furniture
-If you use the shower, please turn on the vent fan in the bathroom.
-HAVE FUN!!! You're in NYC!!
