Provisions for your morning beverages include a Keurig-type K-cup beverage appliance, a traditional drip coffeemaker, a stove-top tea kettle, as well as a selection of sweeteners and a variety of individually-sealed tea bags.
The bedrooms feature comfortable queen-sized beds with high thread count linens and large, soft, absorbent towels for the baths.

This property is properly zoned for rentals, has been inspected by a licensed professional building inspector and features new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as new fire extinguishers. We are licensed with the City of Tucson and the State of Arizona to offer transient lodging to guests.
The flat has a new central air-conditioning and heating system along with a separate evaporative cooling system (which is most helpful in terms of adapting to the climate during the drier times of the year).

One thing about this apartment is that we do ask that guests remove their shoes at the entry. We’re from Hawaii, and that is customary in a Hawaiian home. In addition, we try to maintain the apartment in an exceptionally clean fashion so as to accommodate those guests with allergies.
For our Tucson Gem & Mineral Show Guests: the first two weeks of February represents the peak of the visitor season in Tucson and 100% occupancy throughout Pima County is the norm. We specialize in hosting the vendors, and offer enhanced services. The exhibitions make for long days for the vendors, and we offer them support services, such as assistance with pickups for dry cleaning and sundries, availability of the housekeeping staff to assist with personal laundry, and assistance with the small urgent matters that can crop up. Our location is convenient if you plan to drive, take a cab or the public transportation (the Grant Road bus will travel only one mile to the University campus to connect with the eastern terminus of the Modern Trolley, which is the best way to commute downtown to the venues). Please make an informal inquiry prior to asking for a booking for these dates.
We have made arrangements for guests who desire access to swimming, tennis, fitness classes and exercise equipment to have temporary memberships to the Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club (reasonable rates are daily, weekly or monthly). Ask for details.

In consideration of our community of residents and guests, we request that you observe quiet hours between 10PM and 6AM. There is no smoking. We are not able to accommodate pets. Please remove shoes at the door (we provide each guest with a new, sealed pair of spa slippers). Bicycles or motorbikes may not be kept in the apartment (however, we will try to arrange for on-site storage with advance notice). Any vehicle maintenance, cleaning or repairs must be off-site. When cooking inside the apartment, please be considerate of those who follow and refrain from preparing fried foods and those with pungent odors that may linger after your occupancy (there is a gas burner available on the outdoor barbecue). We do not permit parties, gatherings or events of any kind without prior written approval of the host. Infractions may result in the immediate removal of the guest(s) from the property. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask, and thank you for your cooperation!
Ross was a great host and the space was perfect for what we needed! He brought us fresh baked breakfast bread from a local bakery, as well as Arizona calendars. The space was clean and had a good location, near the Rillito River Park Trail, which was great for an early morning run before our meetings.
Ross made us feel extremely welcome. He was friendly and kind. We had to check in late (11pm), and he was able to accommodate us without any problems. Throughout our stay, he would leave little notes at the door suggesting things we might want to do. I thought that this was a great touch, and his suggestions were insightful. The place itself was very modern, clean, extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Ross was not only the perfect host, but went completely above and beyond, offering recommendations of great places to see and go in Tucson, leaving out beautiful spa amenities and fresh slippers, stocking the fridge with juices, sodas and waters and even going so far as to drop off fresh-picked citrus fruits on the first day of my stay and an Arizona calendar for me to bring home as a souvenir of my time in the state. My only regret? That I didn't have more time to stay there. Highly recommend. Also, a super-convenient location to just about everything.
We had a most delightful experience. Ross is a very pleasant fellow who provided us with many extra amenities, great local suggestions, and adequate privacy. The kitchen is superbly stocked and the whole apartment is perfectly clean and comfortable. Our parents really liked the sweet bread Ross left at our doorstep, too! We hope to come back and stay again someday.
Our apartment was everything promised in the listing and so much more. My daughter and I were in Tucson primarily to do some hiking. After a long day on the trails we came back to a very clean, comfortable, cozy environment. Our host, Ross, gave us great suggestions of places to go. He left welcoming notes and even a bakery treat at our door one day. We felt relaxed, even pampered!
Ross, the host, is very welcoming and friendly, with great suggestions for any spot you'd want to see while in Tucson. The apartment is beautifully appointed and very comfortable, with a great central Tucson location. This is everything you could ask for in an Airbnb stay. Hope to return.
Ross was hand's down the best host I have ever had. He made us feel welcome from the moment we met him. He was extremely diligent in what we needed to know about the flat and left us plenty of material to navigate around Tucson and plan a weekend full of fun activities. I will be contacting Ross anytime I return back to Tucson in the future.
