Provisions for your morning beverages include a Keurig-type K-cup beverage appliance, a traditional drip coffeemaker, a stove-top tea kettle, as well as a selection of sweeteners and a variety of individually-sealed tea bags.
The bedrooms feature comfortable queen-sized beds with high thread count linens and large, soft, absorbent towels for the baths.

This property is properly zoned for rentals, has been inspected by a licensed professional building inspector and features new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as new fire extinguishers. We are licensed with the City of Tucson and the State of Arizona to offer transient lodging to guests.
The flat has a new heater, central air conditioning along with a separate evaporative cooling system (which is most helpful in terms of adapting to the climate during the drier times of the year).

One thing about this apartment is that we do ask that guests remove their shoes at the entry. We’re from Hawaii, and that is customary in a Hawaiian home. In addition, we try to maintain the apartment in an exceptionally clean fashion so as to accommodate those guests with allergies.
For our Tucson Gem & Mineral Show Guests: the first two weeks of February represents the peak of the visitor season in Tucson and 100% occupancy throughout Pima County is the norm. We specialize in hosting the vendors, and offer enhanced services. The exhibitions make for long days for the vendors, and we offer them support services, such as assistance with pickups for dry cleaning and sundries, availability of the housekeeping staff to assist with personal laundry, and assistance with the small urgent matters that can crop up. Our location is convenient if you plan to drive, take a cab or the public transportation (the Grant Road bus will travel only one mile to the University campus to connect with the eastern terminus of the Modern Trolley, which is the best way to commute downtown to the venues). Please make an informal inquiry prior to asking for a booking for these dates.
We have made arrangements for guests who desire access to swimming, tennis, fitness classes and exercise equipment to have temporary memberships to the Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club (reasonable rates are daily, weekly or monthly). Ask for details.

Our stay at Mid-Town Tucson Pied-a-terre was great and Ross is a fantastic host. The apartment was immaculate and was well stocked with snacks, drinks, and condiments. Ross provided us with valuable information as well as recommendations on places to eat and things to do in the Tucson area. The only drawback I can see is that this experience was so spectacular that any future vacation venue will inevitably pale in comparison. Thanks for spoiling all our future vacations Ross!
Quite simply, this mid town apartment suite is an exceptional, thoughtful combination of location, comfort, delightful space, amenities, hospitality and support. The total package is a bargain, really. We felt like we'd won the lotto. I imagine that these unique units will become highly coveted by repeat customers, so if one is available for your dates, don't delay in booking. We will return! This was our first visit to Tucson, so we were delighted to be in close proximity to the major nature reserves, parks and museums, as well as the U of A. Our initial plan was an ambitious get away week of physically challenging bike excursions. That plan was gradually replaced by the gentle embrace of vibrant, lush but forgiving Sonoran environs.The radiant warmth and quiet absorbent ambiance nurtured needed rest and relaxation. Our stay in this comfortable property, with Ross as our host, was a critical element in this totally worthwhile trans-formative week.
Ross was a great host! He had stocked the fridge with bottled water and some mixers, plus there was a variety of K cups for the Keurig (sugar, syrup & creamer was there too!) As a Tucson native I really appreciated the local artwork he had on the walls, plus several books / magazines about Arizona, and books by local authors. If you don't know the area, I highly recommend this place because Ross is really knowledgeable about local events, restaurants, and things to do. The midtown location is VERY convenient, and came in handy for attending UA basketball games. (Cheap parking at the Lutheran church at Campbell & Helen is less than 5 minutes from this place.) The kitchen was VERY well stocked with good quality items, although Bobo's across the street is famous for its hash brown breakfasts. It was nice to relax at the outside picnic table with a cup of coffee in the morning, and enjoy the sunshine, even had the neighbor's cute little cat sit under the table bench one morning. Beds were very comfortable, and the apt is very well stocked on towels, cleaning supplies, and all the little odds and ends you can think of - Ross really thought of everything. There was even a laundry stain remover that saved a white shirt from a salsa stain I acquired, and the quarters provided for the laundry really came in handy. Ross even brought over a pumpkin cranberry bread with a thank you note for visiting. Great location, great landlord, great place to stay.
The apartment is tastefully furnished and met my needs totally. Ross was the perfect host and made me feel well cared for. Great location in charming mid-town neighborhood.
My wife and I used to live in Tuscon few years ago, both working at the U of A, and we were back just for three weeks for a short collaboration project at the University. We can say that staying at Ross apartment was a huge part in our wonderful time in Tucson. The apartment is located in an extremely convenient area, in a very nice neighborhood and close to the U of A. The apartment has everything you need, very well organized, clean, brand new furnished, very very nice! Ross is a great host, always helpful and willing to provide information about events going on in town or suggestions for places to visit. We will definitely stay here again next time we will be back!
We have rented several apartments around the world from Airbnd and our stay at Ross' Mid-Town Tucson Pied-a-Terre was by far the best. It was very well furnished and equipped with high-end nice articles. The extras that Ross provided were unprecedented: refrigerator stocked with sodas, juices, fruit, water; a basket of munchies on the kitchen counter and most incredibly - a basket of quarters provided for the laundry on premises. All dry products for bathroom and cleaning filled a closet so that nothing would be missing.
Also one morning we opened the door to retrieve the newspaper and found a box of giant criossants with all the accompaniments with a note wishing is a continued pleasant stay and more tourist information.
We will definitely stay here on our return trips to Tucson. A very pleasant experience. Thank you.
If you are going to be in Tucson, this a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, bright, quiet, cheaper and nicer than a hotel, well taken care of and fully stocked with basic amenities. Ross is a very generous and friendly person who obviously takes great pride in his rentals. I enjoyed staying here, and it made my time in Tucson easy and stress free. Don't miss out!
Ross and his listing have both earned my highest praise. The apartment was excellent. The pictures accurately show it but in person it is even better. Clean, bright, spacious, with a great location for any Tucson activity: university, mountains, canyons, parks, museums, restaurants, shopping are all in close reach. The host, Ross, is absolutely the best. He was gracious and helpful and generous with his time and consideration. At the risk of overselling my praise, let me just say that this is hands down the best experience I have had with Air bnb and I was already a fan! I concur with another review about the place looking even better than the photos. Also there were many thoughtful touches like the items in the fridge to make you feel like a guest more than just a renter. Having the local paper each morning outside our door was another nice touch. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next stay in this charming pied-a-terre. Thank you Ross!
This was my very first Airbnb experience and all I can say is wow just wow! I cannot imagine a better experience, the host of this property was the BEST! Accommodating, friendly and every detail was in place. It felt like home. The place looks just like the photos, maybe even better. The fridge had fresh fruit, soda, sports drinks, tonic water etc. There were snacks like trail mix and popcorn, basic needs for cooking, even coffee, tea, creamer, and sugar, even Splenda! Beautiful dishes, glasses and utensils and the most awesome display of professional knives and kitchen gear: toaster,blender you name it! Even the morning paper delivered to your door to enjoy with your coffee. All included at no extra cost which I loved.
Both bedrooms were gorgeous, high thread count sheets were a great touch! Everything needed to do laundry was also provided (Hamper, laundry basket, detergent, softener ). Here's the kicker...the host even provided quarters to do laundry! Who does that?! Ross does, he was awesome! He thought of everything and I will definitely be staying there again! It was an amazing experience and I would rather stay at this location than any of the resorts in Tucson. Amenities galore!

Ross is a great host, very friendly and helpful. This unit is super clean and has all the conveniences of home. The beds are very comfortable and there is also washer and dryer available to use. It is close to downtown and the university. Just off of Grant Rd., it provides easy access to the I10 and many other main streets. Parking is off the street and it is in a nice neighborhood. I highly recommend this unit and will definitely book it again next time I am in Tucson.
