This is your opportunity to stay in a renovated 'Rijksmonument' apartment from 1666.
Our beautiful apartment is located on the Prinsengracht, overlooking two historical bridges and a tranquil canal.
This area is the most beautiful and photographed scene in Amsterdam, sit at your window that directly overlooks the water and watch the boats sail by. Our apartment is located on the first floor of a historical monument building that has been fully restored to its original glory and renovated to feature all modern day comforts and luxuries. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Jordaan district, an area known for its beautiful canals, historic buildings and wonderful shopping. In the area is a huge variety of small local shops, cafes and restaurants. On Saturdays there is an organic farmers market and on Mondays there is a flea market just around the corner at the Noordermarkt. Central Station, Anne Frank house, and a number of other museums and historic locations are all within walking distance. Public transportation and grocery stores are all within a few minutes. The best shopping area, the 9 streets with wonderful Dutch and international boutiques, is only a 7 minute walk from your front door.
The apartment is 70 m2 and has an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, a master bedroom with ensuite, a guest bedroom, a toilet and a laundry. The apartment can sleep up to 4 people. We are happy to provide a baby cot if required. It has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. A flatscreen television and wifi are also connected in the apartment. Best of all it's on the first floor so very easy for luggage and or older guests. Trust me in Holland most apartments are full of stairs, we only have 10 for you to climb! It's also very quiet although central so we promise you'll have a great night rest as well.
Our apartment has featured in a monthly column in the famous Dutch interior design magazine 101 home ideas for the past 12 months. All of our artwork and vintage pieces have been specifically chosen to give the apartment a unique, creative, warm feel. We look forward to welcoming you to your own little home away from home!

We would prefer couples or families who will respect our lovely apartment. This is not a party apartment as we want to retain the wonderful relations we have with our neighbours. If you have a baby we can supply you with everything you need including a monitor, steriliser and pram if required. STRICTLY NO SMOKING.
Gorgeous apartment overlooking the canals of Amsterdam. Everything was as per Eva's description. Getting from Central Railway was an easy walk and was close to everything. Amsterdam is a walking city, so be prepared to walk everywhere. Beds were super comfortable and the apartment was so well equiped, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Amsterdam. Thank you Eva.
Had a wonderful time staying at Eva's lovely apartment! Perfect location and beautiful views from the living room windows right over the Prinsengracht canal. The apartment is located in one of the most desirable locations in Amsterdam and there are plenty of great restaurants, stores and shops just a few steps from the front door. Its proximity to the Noordermarkt- an outdoor market that sells everything from fish, cheese, meat and organic vegetables to clothing and trinkets really was a plus! Eva was extremely accommodating about letting me arrive early since my flight arrived at 6am. I really appreciated that and would definitely stay here again!
David was very helpful when we arrived. He grabbed several bags and carried them up to the apartment. He showed us around and the apartment description met our expectations. He also explained the upcoming festivities for King's Day (27 April). The neighborhood has a great location on a beautiful canal. The local restaurant and market recommendations from our host were also helpful. We had a nice stay. We were comfortable in this area of Amsterdam.
Eva and David made us feel welcome in their beautiful apartment on Prinsengracht. The location was among the best Amsterdam has to offer, with views of one of the liveliest canals in the city. The apartment offered everything we needed during our one month stay, and the furnishings were all comfortable and inviting. We would definitely consider returning in the future.
It's a great apartment very close to the station and central amsterdam. We were met by Eva's husband who was very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend in Amsterdam. I would definitely book again.
We had a lovely stay in Eva's apartment, it was perfect! The location is really great, easy to get everywhere, lovely canal view from the spacious living room, nice & quiet but with a couple of bars just around the corner too. The apartment had everything we needed and is really beautiful. Thank you!
This was my first trip to Amsterdam, and it was really wonderful. All of our questions were answered before we left home with prompt replies by Eva, and she was there to show us into the apartment and make us feel welcome when we arrived. The apartment is beautifully situated right on the Prinsengracht canal next to a flower shop (so it always smelled wonderful when we entered the front door). It's about a 20 minute walk from the train station in the Jordaan district, with loads of shops and excellent restaurants nearby. The place was clean and bright, with wooden floors, beamed ceilings and a very comfortable sofa--great for reading while looking out at the canal and the people passing by. Don't miss the sunrises through the front windows which were gorgeous! The master bedroom had an ensuite bathroom with a great shower and deep bath; toiletries and loads of towels were provided. There was a small toilet room between the two bedrooms. The decorative touches were sensitively done. Kitchen was perfect with two coffee makers, and everything you'd need to prepare and serve meals. The table overlooking the canal was perfectly situated for meals and/or working a bit on the computer. This was a perfect place to stay and I highly recommend it. We really felt we were part of the city rather than just guests in a hotel. It was much more personal and comfortable than a hotel too. Our first airbnb experience, but not our last!

About the Host, Eva
Hello we are an Australian couple living in Europe. We have recently renovated a wonderful apartment in the Jordaan Amsterdam. It's been a labour of love, the house is from 1666, so it's a true monument. We love travelling and have been to every continent around the world - except Antartica (we did make it to the southern most part of Argentina though!) We have lived in Amsterdam for almost six years and before that the UK and Asia. We're social, friendly, trustworthy and love meeting new people. We are also renting out our family home in Melbourne. Australia. Both of our parents still live there and look after the property. We look forward to welcoming you!
