I absolutely love this precious neighborhood! My house is perched in the hills of Morro Bay, with fantastic ocean and mountain views. As you drive up the hill you see homes with quaint boats such as the "Scampi" and "Castaway," and seaside decor of dolphins, whales, pelicans and starfish.
Up from my street, the drive gets very steep, and the houses very nice, and it makes for a great morning walk or run. Remarkable views every step!
Walk to the beach from here, and some local restaurants including the super popular "Taco Temple" for the most amazing fish tacos ever! Or, drive to the Embarcadero for other restaurants. Lots of public transportation on Main St, just a few blocks down the hill.

A group of friends and I stayed at Linda's house for a night during a weekend "friendcation" down the coast to Hearst Castle and Paso Robles. We spent the first ten minutes after arriving exploring all the rooms repeating "This place is awesome/gorgeous!" The pictures do it justice. The house was perfect for our group size with the three bedrooms and ample space in the living room enjoy a night in with board games (we packed our own but Linda had a selection at the house). It had everything we needed to prepare dinner and the local grocery store was less than a 5 minute drive down the road. Linda was very responsive to all my messages, making check in a breeze.
Linda's home is spacious and well situated. We were there for one night on our drive "down the coast" and very much enjoyed the stay. The views of the ocean from the living room really are lovely, especially at sunset. There isn't significant outdoor space for sitting and enjoying the coastal view, but the beautiful beach is just a short drive down the hill! All the beds were super comfy and there are two beautiful, virtually new bathrooms.
If you're in the area be sure to visit Taco Temple. Had the best meal there!!
Great, spacious house in a very convenient location. Clean with well stocked kitchen and comfortable amenities for a larger group.
This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 8 (mom, dad and 6 children under the age of 12). It is two stories and we rented the whole house for a 4 day trip to Morro Bay. It's conveniently located close to the bay. Out the window you can see the ocean. There were board games for the kids to play. It exceeded expectations and I'd definitely stay there again if we visit Morro Bay again.

About the Host, Linda
HI - my name is Linda and my two favorite places in the world are the California Central Coast and South Lake Tahoe! I have a beach home on the coast and a ski place in Tahoe that I offer on Airbnb. I am a SF/Bay Area transplant to the Central Coast, most recently from Emerald Hills, near Redwood City. I have a 21 yr old daughter, heading for UC Santa Cruz. I'm a U.C. Berkeley grad who still has a lot of Berkeley in her. I love healthy eating and exercise. In Morro Bay I am completely mellowed out by the ocean view and beauty of the central coast from my livingroom window. : ) In Tahoe, the view is giant pine trees and snow covered mountains. Both are such stunning areas. On the coast, there is hiking the stunning Montana de Oro bluffs, the waterfall at reservoir canyon, Mt. Madonna, Bishops Peak, the Harmony Headland trail to the ocean, and so many other coastal hikes... In Tahoe, there are countless trails and smaller lakes such as Fallen Leaf Lake, and Burnside Lake. I do still love Zumba, Pilates and yoga, too. Love to have guests stay, and I stay out of your way, but am also here to chat with about the area if you want.
