Welcome to the Hale Eddy Honey Hole Cabin, your serene getaway nestled just minutes away from the picturesque upper Delaware River and a two minute walk to Hale Eddy public fishing access. Whether you're an avid fisherman or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, our cabin offers the perfect retreat for you.

The space
Located in a tranquil neighborhood, our cabins are brand new and as I go along we are making changes along the way to make it more comfortable to enhance our stay yours. We have recently renovated the outside of the cabins with a new patio, gazebo and outdoor kitchen.
We also offer guided Wade or drift boat fishing on the upper Delaware Rivers. Please inquire at the time of booking for more information.

-Cabin #1 features a comfortable queen-size bed and new pillow-top mattress with convenient storage drawers underneath for clothes storage and a very comfortable couch for lounging on.

-Cabin #2 is a fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, cookware, a dining area, and a bathroom featuring a waterless dry flush toilet and all bathroom essentials. We like our coffee and have a Keurig, Ninja drip machine, coffee beans and a grinder. Please be mindful of water usage. We ask that you take shorter showers and avoid unnecessary water use.

Please note that the cabins are directly side by side but not connected at this time

Due to allergies, we have a strict no pets policy. To ensure the comfort and safety of our guest smoking and indoor candles are not permitted indoors. We ask that shoes are off and no wading boots allowed while inside.

Each cabin has its own lock and entrance, ensuring privacy and security.

Conveniently accessible via Route 17, our location offers easy transportation, with Binghamton only 35 minutes away. Nearby Deposit and Hancock offers a variety of options to eat.

There is a barn on the property that is currently under construction. For your safety, please stay away from this area during your stay.

Other things to note
We are certified NYS certified fishing guides and offer float or wade fishing trips on the Delaware River System. If you are looking for some good fishing and or floating time on the water, please inquire. We know how to put you on fish!!

ACTIVITIES AND THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA

FLY FISHING
One of the greatest claims to the Catskill Mountains is its long and rich fishing history. The Upper West Branch of The Delaware River is a minute walk to the Hale Eddy river access with multiple boat launches and public fishing access along the river within minutes. You also have the East branch, Main stem of Delaware and the Beaverkill all within a very short drive. Hook everything from Wild Brown and Rainbow Trout on the West Branch and East Branch and challenge your wading and casting skills in the ever-changing main stem of the Upper Delaware.

Canoe and Kayak
There are multiple locations in the area for renting canoes and kayaks for river float and fishing trips with miles and miles of beautiful crystal clear water and lots of wildlife viewing and plenty of eagles sightings along the way.

GOLF

In a short 35 minute drive is a beautiful golf course called En-joie which has hosted PGA tournaments and the Dicks Senior Open in Endicott N.Y. and is one of the nicest courses in the area

The Covered Bridges Tour
There are 13 covered bridges of varying historic significance in New York’s Delaware County. Two of those covered bridges can be found in the town of Hancock with numerous being close by in Downsville and the Sullivan County area but there are adventures to be found around every bend of this scenic area.

West Branch Angler - Located just across the river and down the road about a mile from us, this full-service Orvis endorsed lodge has boat rentals, a great fly shop, restaurant, and more.

Whitetail Country Fly Shop & Outfitter - Down the road 5 miles in Hancock is another friendly staffed and well stocked fly shop.
