Relax, sleep in, enjoy. Pets welcome as long as they get along with dogs and are potty trained (of course accidents happen). Let me know if you need a kennel for the night. You are welcome to use the kitchen, please clean after yourself.
We really enjoyed our stay with Karen. She made us feel welcome right away, showed us around and gave us the key to come and go.
Karen greeted us when we arrived. She was very welcoming and had a great and open personality. She showed us the space and pointed out all the features. Neighborhood was very nice, quaint brick bungalows-a family neighborhood.
Karen's place is an amazing, cozy book tucked in the attic of her lovely home. She has 3 beautiful, sweet dogs and her home comfortably accommodated the 3 of us.
Karen is a nice, quiet hostess. She got us checked in, and left us alone, which is what we wanted. We were impressed with how well behaved her dogs are. The space is warm and welcoming. It would be great for a family, having a nice quality futon in the "living room" space. The location is great, close to shopping and the 64 and 170 freeways.
Karen's home is beautiful! The upstairs area is cozy yet spacious, with a big bathroom. No complaints. :)
Our host felt like a "forever friend" from the first day. Very comfy quarters with plenty of space to claim a desk or table, lounge in comfy chairs or sofa. Kiereg coffee maker with plenty coffee pods on hand was a nice touch, plus great Wi-Fi, wireless printer, large TV, wonderful shower with lush towels, comfortable bed, you name it. Seemed initially to be too much furniture, but quickly learned to embrace every inch of it--so convenient in every way and found plenty of room to arrange our stuff and it all fell together beautifully and felt like home--very private living space except for sharing the kitchen. Loved the garden area for morning coffee. Karen is there whenever you want her to be for a chat, but very respectful of privacy. I was a bit shy around her huge dog at first, but he's a "honey bear". Neither of the 2 dogs seemed interested in visiting our quarters, though our host asked us to always replace the make-shift doggie gate as a reminder to them to not enter, which I would say is no biggy unless someone has balance/ mobility issues. The area has lots to see and do. We enjoyed Forest Park with its museums, going up in the Arch, visiting Cahokia Indian Mounds, and touring the famous Botanical Gardens with the largest Japanese Garden in the world--all within 20 -60 minutes distance.
