Welcome to an inspiring retreat in an art-filled home with a warm energy. The house is a quick walk to the ocean so the air is restorative and depending on the tide, you’ll sleep to the sound of waves. Your queen bed is plush memory foam with a floating canopy and fairy lights. There's mineral water in your room, and organic French pressed coffee & teas served in the morning. The kitchen is an art studio (not great for cooking) I have a nice cat. This home is chore free with free, easy parking!

The space
The room is cozy and wonderfully sunny. The memory foam bed with the floating canopy and fairy lights is serene and comfortable. Depending on the tide, you’ll sleep to the sound of the ocean.

Guest access
There is close, easy parking onsite and there is a backyard to store your bikes and surf boards. The house is in a low key neighborhood - somewhat humble on the outside and vibrant on the inside with a warm energy. The house is meat free and shoeless on the rugs. Check in is listed between 4:00 and 7:00, but if your provide an ETA, I can usually be flexible with the check in times.

Other things to note
The stairs leading to the second level are shorter than normal so please watch your step. This is a hosted stay, meaning my cat and live here, and no need to worry about chores.

Neighborhood highlights

Alice Street is a couple of blocks from the beach in the Portola area. You can hear the ocean waves clearly at night. The house is behind a multi-tenant complex somewhat humble on the outside, and vibrant and warm on the inside. There are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks and the Sunday Farmers' market is a quick walk. It's less than a mile to Pleasure Point and Capitola is a 2-mile walk to the downtown village.
