I had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay at Géraldine’s flat. It was quiet, secure, well equipped, bright with open views of Paris, and situated right next to a metro station and many shops, cafés and restaurants. Géraldine sent me with all the practical information I needed before I set off and provided a very friendly welcome when I arrived. She took me through everything I needed to know about the flat, and provided practical suggestions before and during my stay – information on shops, places to eat and things to do/cultural events while I was there. I felt very much at home. Many thanks again!
Geraldine's apartment was exactly like her advertisement. It was absolutely beautiful, the view was gorgeous, and it was very cozy. She was so kind to leave treats for me, along with books and maps to help me get familiarized with Paris. I felt like a true Parisian living in this apartment and if I ever come back to Paris, I know who to contact. Thanks for all of your kindness and support!
Geraldine's apartment is so cute and very close to the Metro. Geraldine herself is a sweet heart and left me a little cake so that I had something to eat after my long flight from Montreal. I would highly recommend her apartment. You can get into the city within about 15 minutes via metro and the neighborhood is very safe. Good Value.
The nieghborhood is perfect: not touristy at all; there is a good mix of both affordable and gourmet/specialty options; the Marais and Montmartre are both within walking distance, as well as many other sites of cultural/historical interest (it is literally right next to Pere-Lachaise.
As for the aparment itself, there are too many good qualities to list. I will just say, it was incredible, and the view from the living room includes the Eiffel Tower, Sacre-Coeur, and La Defense (not to mention the beautiful Parisian rooftops). It is especially inspiring at night.
Geraldine is also extremely accommidating, and a genuinely nice and caring person. She even offered to have coffee with me when I was having trouble meeting people!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APPARTMENT!!!!
Géraldine was a very good communicator. When I arrived at the apartment their were notes explaining where I might find things I might need, water, food, maps. Soon after, she called to make sure all was as I expected and if I needed anything. Everything was great. I appreciated her thoughtfulness as much as her comfortable apartment. This was a very good experience.
I arrived to the apartment with a mountain of pastries waiting for me. After a long flight, I could not have asked for more for a warm welcome from the host. Geraldine, also provided a list/map of local stores around the apartment (grocery, laundry, supermarket) and also a list of cultural events in Paris. Bright, sunny apartment, and close to the metro. The apartment has everything that I need and want during my stay in Paris. It was a pleasure to deal with Geraldine. I loved my stay in the apartment so much I extended my stay here for an extra month. Thank you!
