The apartment is located in the very heart of Rome between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, and it is within easy walking distance of the key sights, fashion houses, Pantheon, and much more…
Thanks to its incredibly enviable position, you can easily reach the squares, monuments and most elegant streets of the capital: "Piazza del Popolo", "Mausoleo di Augusto", "Piazza Navona" or just go for a leisurely walk in the gardens of the beautiful "Villa Borghese" and Pincio.
The area is full of trendy restaurants in the narrow streets of the historical center, where walking becomes a pleasure, bars on Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina and all the luxury boutiques you need in Via Condotti, Frattina, The apartment is located in a seventeen century period building in one of the most charming and exclusive shopping street of Rome city centre
The flat is brand new, having being refurbished by a professional architect. It features a nice little kitchen, an elegant bathroom with decorated hand painted Italian tiles, shower, washing machine and hair-dryer and , a living room and a confortable double bedroom, unlimited wi-fi , a flat screen TV, independent heating/air conditioning. NEW : Nespresso coffe machine for a delicious Italian espresso at home !
It is perfect for 2 people, but it can also accommodate up to 3/4 people thanks to a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. It is on the second floor with no lift but the stairs are not too tiring.
The flat is very cosy and unusually bright as it benefits from double exposure with windows in every room, enjoying the view of the prestigious Santa Cecilia Academy of Music, where sometimes it is possible to hear classical music. Very nice location with a supermarket open all week including weekend and a very sweet vegetable an flower rional market. Very well connected, with buses and metro (Spagna).
It is a unique opportunity to be in the heart of Rome, in a very quiet street, and an area with a lots of bars and nice restaurant. Very nice person for check in, he will help you with good advices about Rome. Close to underground station of SPAGNA (Linea A). Given flight restrictions, I always try to leave in the flat toothpaste, shower gel/shampoo etc.

  • The location of Sabina's apartment is fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere and it is really clean with a comfy bed. Sabina was very helpful when I was booking and in giving us the names of local restaurants after we got there.

Our stay was spoiled a little by some issues regarding Sabina finding someone to let us in without us having to wait around with bags upon our arrival. On the last day we were due to be out by 11am and left all of our belongings in apartment while we went to breakfast. We returned from breakfast at 10.40am to find the door open and a man who didn't speak English already in the apartment. We felt obliged to grab our things and go as he stood there. There are a lot of great reviews for this apartment so perhaps we were just unlucky and overall Sabina and her apartment were nice.

  • We spent 3 days in Sabina's cosy flat which feels like home in the first minute, thanks to her warm welcoming and the atmosphere she created. Sabina explained us very kindly all the details of her flat, and then she shared with passion the nice places to be seen in Rome. Her flat is very comfortable, practical and nicely decorated, idealy located in the center of Rome !
We enjoyed a lot our trip and warmly recommend this flat for a "Vacanze Romane" :)

  • Our stay in Rome was extremely pleasant and comfortable. The credit, of course, goes to Sabina's apartment. The location is fabulous and when we would walk into the apartment after a tiring day, it felt like home. The apartment may be cosy, but the way everything is arranged/organised is amazing. I have to mention how delighted my daughter and I were the first day we arrived after long international flights. We discovered five different kinds of coffee and four types of tea in the kitchen! I had my decaf coffee and my daughter went straight to the Nespresso machine: ) Sabina had also organised a taxi to pick us up and drop us off, which made life much simpler. Especially on our way out, as we had to take an early morning flight and had to leave the apartment at 3.15 in the morning. Thank you Sabina.

  • We've had a wonderful stay at Sabina's place. We received a very warm welcome and Sabina had good suggestions what to go and visit with my 10y old son. The apartment is great in all aspects: location, comfort, cosiness. We know where we'll be staying next time we're in Rome!

  • Me and my wife enjoyed a lovely vacation in the heart of rome and on foot. Not a single use of bus metro or taxi-exactly the way we like it. Its location is its great advantage, but the appsrtment also offers great convenience. We enjoyed going out a little later than usual, after having a good breakfast at home. Sabina herself was extremely helpful in advise and also equipped the house with great guide-books.

  • Sabina's apartment is just great. It has everything one's need for a perfect vacation in Rome. It is very clean, comfortable and in the best location. Wholeheartedly recommended. The only one thing I would Sabina to add is English speaking channels to the cable TV package.

  • We completely fell in love with Rome and staying in this apartment was part of the reason. The location is fantastic with cobblestone streets right out the doorway and dozens of shops and cafes to discover (we really liked Dilla which was just around the corner).

The apartment is very clean and modern and the bed was super comfortable. The fact that Sabina stocked the kitchen with coffee, tea, chocolates and even a bottle of Prosecco really made it special. Its such a treat to wake up to fresh expresso and milk in the fridge! There are lots of guide books and a number of recommendations on local restaurants available.

Sabina and her family were incredible hosts, really warm, welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this apartment 100% to anyone looking to discover Rome. We would love to go back and stay longer!

  • Great apartment in a lovely location on an atmospheric street, close to the action, yet still peaceful at night. Sabine did a great job responding quickly to all my questions leading up to and after the reservation. Met by Filipo who carefully told us how everything worked. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Loved having the nespresso machine, and delicious chocolates left by Sabine, and the bookshelf of guidebooks and maps was very helpful. Window in every room meant the place was nice and bright, shower was nice and hot (good in winter) and toilet had an excellent flush! Good base for exploring, we could walk everywhere, lots of little restaurants, cafes nearby and a Carrefour express a few doors down very handy. Sabine helped book a taxi to the airport on departure at same price as we saw it advertised elsewhere, but turned out to be a fancy mercedes, nice!

  • Sabina was a wonderful warm and gracious host and her place was just as great. Right in the heart of the city it is in a prime location and close yo a lot of prime sights and restaurants. Even though the apartment is small, our family of 4 did wonderfully as there was a pull out couch which converts into a full bed. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials as were the bedroom and bathroom. Sabina had thought of everything to make our stay superb and I would recommend her place highly.

About
Ciao ! I am an architect and I work between Italy and UK and I have travelled extensively. I am interested in culture, visual arts and particularly music. I use this little "nests" to escape from work and stressful life when I come to Rome since I enjoy the beautiful ancient sites of Rome , but I am happy to share it with friends and those who will appreciate the special qualities of the place and the beauty of Rome. I refurbished this apartment putting a lot of love and care. I love singing , and funny enough from this apartment sometimes you can appreciate beautiful music of opera singers and pianists coming from the Accademy of Music which is very near !
