Mary was a very welcoming host. The house was very clean and cosy and the children had a ball in the gardens.
Unfortunately the pool was not working and seemed not to have been for a while, we were rather disappointed as it was the main reason we chose the property. Although Mary agreed an appropriate refund, we would have appreciated it if she could have informed us when we made our booking. The only reason we found out before we arrived was because we asked directly after reading more recent reviews which stated the pool was out of action. The kitchen was very basic and we did struggle to cook a Sunday roast for the family (5 adults and 4 primary school age children). Having said that we would return as the bedroom set up suited us perfectly and the gardens were brilliant for the children to play in. There was easy access by car to Naas and the Wicklow mountains. We had a lovely stay, thanks!
Mary was an amazing and very helpful host! The location of the house is wonderful and the house itself is very nice. We couldn't enjoy the pool but we could play tennis and use the gym, and having lunch outside in the garden was great! Mary showed us around very nicely and was always ready to help us. Overall, a great stay which my friends and I would renew anytime!
Booked this lovely house for a farewell get together for a friend and five others! On scanning the website the pool really caught our eye, and booked almost instantly! The week of the get together ,We were down to call on the Saturday and on Monday a message came across to say the boiler was broken and there would be no pool. I was under the impression that they didn't even attempt to fix the problem prior to our arrival! After I asked about a discount i was told i would get it on Sunday, and when we were leaving the host said you have to go through the website! Which we were not told! Aswell as that having looked into the pool house id say that boiler did not just break on the Monday , the dirt on the ground said it all, out for months Id say! Furthermore i have no faults about anything else house really was fab and the sleeping arrangements were perfect! So if its just the house your looking for it is ideal!
Very nice place to stay with a large family or several couples. Mary was available and made us feel welcome when we arrived. She also had some recommendations and information on local places to visit that made our stay in the area even more enjoyable. It was easy to find yet very private in a beautiful setting. We had a great time.
The Coach House was perfect for our girls weekend away - comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and a great space to relax in. Mary answered all our questions promptly and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble - her son even cooked all our pizzas for us when we had an issue with the oven! The area is lovely and there are plenty of things to do nearby including sight seeing in Dublin. Highly recommended.
Mary was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived to a few supplies in the fridge to keep us going, coffee and tea, shower gel in the bathrooms etc.
The house is amazing with lots of space for a big group of people. The grounds are fantastic and very well looked after. We made some use of the pool which is very well kept, and a fun addition to a weekend away.
Can't fault our stay here - only wish it was longer!
