About this listing
- Clean and cosy bedroom.
- Quite and safe neighborhood, also at night. Very well located and with convinient transportation.
- Trustful hosts
- Bathroom to share only with one more person.
A very cosy room where you can relax and feel at home. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, two of which are available for rent. We have 2 bathrooms which means that you'll share yours with just one other person.
We are very clean and tidy and the apartment is always impeccable.
What makes our home so special is its positive vibe. You'll feel at home, we'll treat you as family and you'll be sure to spend your time in Barcelona in a clean and cosy place that will help restore your energy.
Please, keep in mind that we leave in a flat and we have neighbours. If you are sensitive to noise, I suggest you bring some ear plugs, just in case, although you won't probably need them.
- You have for your use in the kitchen our microwave, toaster, orange juicer and hotpot, but not the burners on stove (sorry, we had a bad experience!).
- You have a special place in the fridge and in the cupboard to store your own food.
- If you want to do your laundry, the cost is 5€ which includes detergent and softener but needs to be scheduled in advance.
- You can use our WiFi connection for free.
Interaction with Guests
We will welcome you in person the day of your arrival and ww will show you the flat and give you all the information you might need.If you need any information about the city, let us help you. We have many maps and guides and we know the city well.
The neighborhood is very safe and quite. There are many supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a library and a gym within walking distance. In fact, the Sagrada Familia, with its pedestrian street Av. Gaudí, is only a 5 minute walk from our home.
Public transportation is minutes from the house…the purple (L2) or blue (L5) metro lines as well as public and tourist busses.
Other Things to Note
We'd like to keep the check-in and check-out time flexible, but please, keep in mind that considering our work schedules, in general these would be the check-in time:
- Monday to Friday from 12:30pm
- Weekends is usually flexible.
If you need to check-in at a certain time, please consult with us before the booking.
- We ask to our guests to respect us and the apartment itself.
- We don’t smoke inside but we do in the balcony.
- Considering that we wake us early during the week, we would like a quite flat from eleven thirty pm, but feel free to enter and leave the flat whenever you like.
- We try to help the environment, that's why we recycle and we would like our guest to respect that. For the same reason, remember to switch off the lights when you leave a room ;)
- If you need anything just ask and we'll happy to help. We consider lack of respect if you use and take our stuff without asking and keep in mind we will know if you have used them!
- You are not allowed to bring people over.
- P.S. Please, in the toilette put the lid down! :D
claudia was a great host, The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and it has cute balcony .
Metro was right at the corner and it was convenient to get around
thank you claudia
Une nana super sympa et accueillante et l'appartement était propre et agréable!
Claudia was very welcoming, great to talk to, and the room was perfect.
I did think the location was a bit far from the other sites besides La Sagrada Familia. It was about 30 minutes to other neighborhoods, which could be a bit difficult if I wanted to come back before going out for the evening.
I would just like to clarify that Barcelona is not a small city and if you want to see the different neighborhoods, you do need always 30 minutes, walking or by metro… even if you walk from Gothic to Born, which are both part of the old town. The difference is that if you prefer to stay in the old town and walk to the closest neighborhood, you’ll then be dealing with the crowd, tourists and noise.
Claudia was very sweet and helpful and welcoming. I felt right at home in her peaceful place, and just a five minute walk is Sagrada Familia and the tram station. The location is filled with cafes, restaurants and a variety of markets. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in Barcelona.
Claudia was a great host, extremely friendly and helpful. She gave great directions to her place from the Airport. I would have no hesitation of stay with Claudia again. Thank you!
I had a great stay at the Zen Room. It was a great location and the room was very clean.

About the Host, Claudia
¡Esperamos poderte conocer pronto!
I was born on an island and I wanted to see what was outside. That’s how I started my experiences traveling and learning about other countries, cultures and languages. I know how it feels when arriving in a new city you feel totally lost and I know how beautiful it is when someone that you don’t even know, opens their home to you and helps you with some simple advice, making your stay much better. I have lived in 7 different cities in 5 different countries. I have had friends of friends, friends of acquaintances, and even acquaintances, take me in their city and made me feel welcome. Now it is my turn to manifest my gratitude for each of those experiences. I love to meet new people, to help and to share enriching moments.
