A very cosy room where you can relax and feel at home. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, two of which are available for rent. We have 2 bathrooms which means that you'll share yours with just one other person. You have for your use in the kitchen our microwave, toaster, orange juicer and hotpot, nut not the burners on stove (sorry, we had a bad experience!). You have a special place in the fridge and in the cupboard to store your own food.
If you want to do your laundry, the cost is 5€ which includes detergent and softener but needs to be scheduled in advance.
We are very clean and tidy and the apartment is always impeccable. You can use our WiFi connection for free. If you need any information about the city, let us help you. We have many maps and guides and we know the city well.
The neighborhood is very safe and quite. There are many supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a library and a gym within walking distance. In fact, the Sagrada Familia, with its pedestrian street Av. Gaudí, is only a 5 minute walk from our home. Public transportation is minutes from the house…the purple or blue metro lines as well as public and tourist busses.
What makes our home so special is its positive vibe. You'll feel at home, we'll treat you as family and you'll be sure to spend your time in Barcelona in a clean and cosy place that will help restore your energy.
We ask to our guests to respect us and the apartment itself.
We don’t smoke inside, but we do in the balcony.
Considering that we wake up early during the week, we would like a quite flat from eleven thirty pm, but feel free to enter and leave the flat whenever you like.
We try to help the environment, that's why we recycle and we would like our guest to respect that. For the same reason, remember to switch off the lights when you leave a room ;)
If you need anything just ask and we'll happy to help. We consider lack of respect if you use and take our stuff without asking and keep in mind we will know if you have used them!
You are not allowed to bring people over.
P.S. Please, in the toilette put the lid down! :D
Staying with Claudia was very nice, she and her (website hidden) seem very friendly, nice and calm people. We didn't meet much because of crossed schedules, but we were able to talk at nights during a bit.
Thank you Claudia
So nice I stayed twice. Claudia & her roommate were very welcoming to this European first-timer from the States. I got my own room and it was comfortable and clean. She was very accommodating to me and explained everything I needed to know. I decided to book the same room again the next week for the second half of my travels (when I was covered by my work's hotel). Great location down the street from La Sangrada Familia.
Wonderful experience! As most other reviewers have said, Claudia is an excellent host and provided detailed directions on how to get to her place, which is very centrally located close the Sagrada Familia. There are several restaurants and shops within a 5-minutes walk. The room was also very nice and she has a lot of tourist brochures, maps and coupons that she keeps for guests. She was also very helpful to me in suggesting places to go for dinner, so I really appreciated that too :)
My stay at Claudia's house was good. She was very helpful when sent me information on how to get to her house. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to La Sagrada Familia (the metro station is right in front of the Sagrada Familia). I recommend the place for its great location.
Claudia was very professional in her communication and was home at the pre-arranged time to greet me. The room was rather small, and only had a window that opened onto a shaft. I found this to be a problem, thought that is more my issue than anything. The pictures of the room were accurate and I do not feel that anything was misrepresented. I personally felt a little claustrophobic, but given the excellent location near Sagrada Familia, and Claudia's efficiency, this could be a excellent choice for the right guest.
Unfortunately have not met Claudia, Sheila had to work untill 18.30 hours but started texting me half an hour later asking me were I was since she had to leave at 19.30 hours for a gig. When I arrived Sheila was in a hurry and left the appartment within 5 minutes after my arrival. For me this is not the perfect way to start a B&B experience! Especially, since I had a day of hard working. Then you hope to be welcomed in a more relaxed way, hoping to feel a bit at home.
About the room, yes the price is low. But the room was really small (9 m2) and there was no possibility to open up a window. Also, the shared bathroom was full with hair and both the bathroom as sleeping room was filled with dust. The bed is very short for taller people.
I had booked the room for 2 nights, but felt really dissapointed after
one night sleeping. Unfortunately, both Sheila and Claudia were not at home so I left without being able to complain or saying goodbye. Spent the second night in a proper hotel.
Really wondering why it is I only see great enthustiastic reviews about this airB&B...
Vincent, I'm very sorry you were not happy with your stay. The day of your arrival I was not in Barcelona because I had personal problems. The morning after I was hoping to see you before noon when I left home, but we had different timing. I wish you wrote me before taking the decision to leave the room. Btw, yes it's possible to open the window, it's just a bit tricky ;)
I'm sorry again for what happened, I'll immediately arrange to give you a complete refund for the 2 days.

¡Esperamos poderte conocer pronto!
I was born on an island and I wanted to see what was outside. That’s how I started my experiences traveling and learning about other countries, cultures and languages. I know how it feels when arriving in a new city you feel totally lost and I know how beautiful it is when someone that you don’t even know, opens their home to you and helps you with some simple advice, making your stay much better. I have lived in 7 different cities in 5 different countries. I have had friends of friends, friends of acquaintances, and even acquaintances, take me in their city and made me feel welcome. Now it is my turn to manifest my gratitude for each of those experiences. I love to meet new people, to help and to share enriching moments.
I'm sharing this aribnb project with my flatmate/friend. We have been leaving together for two and a half year now and between us has has grown a beautiful relationship like sisters. Her name is Sheila, she is physiotherapist and she gives professional massages at home. If you would like to enjoy a good and convenient massage during your stay, just ask us! She is a very positive person and full of energy. I'm sure you'll think the same as soon as you going to meet her.
We're looking forward to meeting you soon and let us show you what true hospitality feels like!
