About This Listing
Rainbow House is a GLBT friendly space, just 15 minutes South of Downtown Portland. We are close to the I-5, 217, and Hwy 99 so easy access to pretty much everything! :)
This is a lovely 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath guest house that is attached to the back of my home. It has a full sized living room with dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. One room has a queen bed, the other 2 have kings. The lower room has access to a bathroom downstairs, and the 2 upstairs rooms share the master bath.
This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to Portland, but not in the middle of things. A quick 15 minute drive and you are downtown, then just as easily home. :) Or you can take public transit and be there or back in 20.
We have a Fred Meyer, Winco, Cosco, lots of resturants and the Washington Square Mall all within 10 mins. by car, or 15- 20 by bus. And we are only 15 mins. from the train station, or 30 mins. from the airport. :)
This listing is for the "Princess Suite", which has a Queen sized bed, and walk in closet.
Come stay with us and enjoy a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. :)

Have a fun, relaxing stay!! :)
I had an amazing stay at this house. I love Portland but this place was just an ideal location for me to stay with my boyfriend. Its 15 mins from downtown but restaurants and markets are all at a walking distance. The rooms are as good as hotel rooms and the hosts are just wonderful!
Very interesting, entertaining and insightful stay... Anytime again.
This place was really wonderful! I did not personally met Victoria, but the hosts present were very accommodating and kind. I would defiantly recommend staying here.
I was looking for a "home base" for a weekend in Portland, and this was just right. The room was spacious and welcoming, with access to a shared kitchen, living/dining room and beautiful yard outside to enjoy a sunny day. Breakfasts prepared by my hostesses were a real treat as well. Everyone's hospitality made me feel right at home.
Pros: You're in a guest house type of area, so you have a kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, and lots of room in general. Victoria and her employees are super friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There's also four people you can call if you need anything, so you know you'll never get stuck in a bad situation.
Cons: The only con in my opinion was that the living room smelled a little bit like smoke. It wasn't strong, but people who are especially sensitive to it may be bothered.
Overall: I would recommend this place, and would stay there again in the future.
This is a very clean and safe place to stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Note: must be an open-minded guest to stay at Victoria's spots. Alternate lifestyles are all around you - this was interesting and not a problem for me however.
The downstairs bath/shower is very small (princess room).
Thanks for the new experience in my life and your commitment to provide assistance to these very nice folks.
Victoria, and her staff, special thanks to Lily, were great.
I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere they created.
The facilities were excellent, and the location was both quiet, and within easy reach of Portland's many amenities.
In short I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I'm already planning my next visit. .

About the Host, Victoria
My name is Victoria, and I want to welcome you to our lovely city. Portland is a wonderful place, with so much to do. I have never lived in a more accepting and nurturing environment than this city. Everyone is encouraged to be themselves here, and that is why I love it!
I own and operate "Over the Rainbow Tranformations", which is right across the street from "Rainbow House". Feel free to check out our website for more info on that. :)
I look forward to meeting you and making you comfortable. :)
