Comfortable double room in a quiet street near central London. Bars and cafes and shops very close by and green areas.

The space

My home is warm and welcoming and it will be your home from home as everyone who comes here is always invited to relax and enjoy the space. The double room sleeps two people comfortably.

Breakfast:
There is a kitchen for guests to eat breakfast. I provide bread for toasting, jam, peanut butter, Marmite and marmalade and milk for tea and coffee which you help yourself to. If you buy cereal please buy extra milk for yourself. The kitchen overlooks really nice gardens. You can use the kitchen at any time as another room to relax in and it overlooks the gardens so a great space to chill. You can buy things and put them in the fridge and there is a cupboard for you to store any food for yourself.

I provide towels and a hair dryer so you can travel lighter! There is a European electric plug and there are also umbrellas for you to borrow!

There are 2 WC's and 1 bathroom with shower and bathroom which is shared.

There are attractive bars and restaurants in the immediate area and typical London pubs. You can take the local buses if you like to anywhere but if you wanted to walk, it's a pleasant 25-30 minutes to the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Tate Britain etc. I am more than happy to help with any directions, guides or advice on where to go and what to do so you get the best out of your time here.

Check in:
Although the check in and check out times are flexible they must be reasonable and, unless it's exceptional circumstances, no check in after 10pm

Check out:
Check out is around 11am but you are welcome to leave your bags in the apartment if your flight is late in the day. You can then enjoy your last day.

I look forward to making your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one while you're in London!

Lynn is an experienced, friendly, and very helpful host. She helped us feel very welcome and at home. Lynn communicated much helpful information ahead of time, and was a great source of knowledge about London attractions and getting around the area. Location is superb for a London visit--convenient to both bus and tube, and to central London attractions. Guests should know that Lynn's house has several flights of stairs; overall a great location for our London visit.

London was everything I dreamed it to be! And staying at Lynn's was perfect! She was very kind an welcoming and gave us plenty of good tips for our visit to the city. Her place is situated in a great spot to catch the 88 bus that goes past all of the great site seeing spots! My friend and I had plenty of room and felt very much at home while we were there. Thank you so much!

Lynn and Sandy are absolutely wonderful hosts! This was my husband and I's first time using Airbnb and both Lynn and Sandy made the experience very pleasant. From the first day we arrived, we both felt very much at home. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Close to both the tube and buses. Only 15-20 minutes on the bus into the centre of London. The room was quite comfortable and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, the comforter was warm and cozy. There was never any issues. We would definitely book again!

Good location, London Zone 2 about 8 minutes walk to Stockwell Tube Station and 3 minutes to bus stop. Lidl supermarket about 10 minutes walk and other convenient stores nearby. The room was clean, very quiet to sleep at night and the bed confortable. Overall the house is kept clean and organized. It is a great value for the money. Both Lynn and Sandy are adorable. I will stay with them again without hesitation

Host was very gracious and went out of her way to help us with any non-b&b problems such as way-finding, bus and tube route's, lost and stolen cards, etc. etc. If possible, guests should seize the opportunity to hear her play the guitar and sing. She's very good. Room is comfortable in a walkup in a London row house in a quiet neighborhood near bus and tube stops. The photo posted on the web was misleading, in that it is Lynn's own quarter and not available to guests. We understand that it has been taken down, however. Guests accustomed to being served elaborate breakfasts should be aware that guests will make their own breakfast out of juice, coffee, tea, toast, butter and jam provided by the host. This is quite appropriate in view of the price. This accommodation provided good value, and we would like to stay there again if we return to London.

I like reading, walking, travelling, singing and playing guitar, interesting conversation, cinema and art. I love meeting new people so Airbnb is really good for me and I always get a buzz from people who arrive here as I still love London after all this time and I really like sharing experiences of where they can go, depending on what they like of course!

I've travelled through the Middle East, South America, Thailand, Spain and love having guests who want to get the best out of London - especially if it's their first time here.

I can speak a little Arabic, Spanish and French.

My motto in life - all you need is love :-)
