Claudia and Marco were truly exceptional hosts, they went above and beyond our expectations. To top everything off they woke up before our flight at 4am to give us breakfast to take on the journey. Would definitely recommend staying with them as they made our trip to Roma even more enjoyable!
Claudia and Marco were great hosts. This was my first ever experiment with B&B and I had no idea what to expect. And I am glad for the wonderful experience. Claudia gave clear instructions as to how to reach them, the place is conveniently located across the metro station Cornelia and we had no problem in reaching them. The place is few stops from Termini, line A and is also easily accessible by bus.
The apartment is very nice and properly maintained, it gives the feeling of a home. The room is nice and the sheets were clean and there is a fan in the room, which was great as the temperature outside was around 37 or even more. The bathroom was also clean and they even provided the towels and shampoo. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day and that was great.
There were enough maps in the room to help us explore the city. Marco and Claudia even advised us with what all to visit.
I had requested vegetarian breakfast and we were provided with enough options ranging from fresh fruits to fruit juice, bread, butter, biscuits, tea, coffee to cereals to milk. I appreciate the efforts.
They even offered to help with the laundry, although I neither expected it nor could I accept the offer, but it was an offer and I would like the others to know about the genrosity of our hosts.
Last night, they proposed us to have a dinner together in a local restaurant and I must say what a dinner! Amazing food, enough portion size and great company. Claudia also packed sandwiches for the day, when we were leaving.
I would definitely recommend them to my friends and even to the people who are looking for a place to stay in B&B in Rome.
Claudia and Marco were amazing hosts and their apartment was really beautiful. The room was very big and beautifully decorated and we had our own private bathroom which was also big. The terrace was amazing and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Claudia and Marco were so cheerful and always smiling. We really enjoyed talking to them and they made us feel very welcome. They were always in a good mood and they were so friendly. We were so happy we got to meet them. The location is nice, as it is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy centre, yet it is only a 2 minute walk from the metro station that will take you everywhere you need to go. There are also some really nice restaurants nearby, one of which was ran by a friend of Marco and Claudia. It was so good we ate their twice! Finally, on our last day, since we had to leave really early to catch a plane and didn't have time for breakfast, Claudia packed us delicious sandwiches for the road along with juice and a little dessert. Overall, our stay was perfect and we definitely recommend people to stay here, as they will love it!
Claudia and Marco truly live upto the title super host! They were hospitable, kind, generous, warming and all around friendly. It was like staying with family. They went above and beyond to welcome us. Every morning we were treated to a huge breakfast with a lot of variety, and they also took us to the beach the day of our arrival (it was a really hot day). The room was also really nice, and is well portrayed in the pictures. I highly recommend staying here.
Claudia and Marco were gracious hosts! They gave us accurate directions to reach their beautiful home from the train station. From Termini train station in downtown Rome, you simply take the A metro to the Cornelia stop. It’s just a few blocks from the station if you’re oriented correctly, and it is so quick and easy to get around. The neighborhood itself was also lovely, complete with a 4.5-star gelato place about 1/3 mile away, and two pizzeria’s within a block of the place that were great. The apartment itself is in a very nice, modern building that is clearly well maintained.
The bed & breakfast itself was VERY clean! It got cleaned very thoroughly every day, which was very nice. The bathroom and plethora of towels they gave us were spotless and smelled nice. They even helped us do laundry, which was very nice because we were at the end of a two-week trip, and really needed it!
It is also nice that this place has a lift, so you don’t have to climb all five sets of stairs. The balcony was nice as well, and added a lovely piece to our stay, as we were able to sit outside and enjoy takeout meals we brought home. The breakfast Claudia and Marco made for us every morning was WAY above and beyond other hosts, and was very delicious!
We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were sensitive of our personal space (the room has a private bathroom, and they kindly placed a partition between the rooms in the corridor for our privacy at night), and offered to help us with everything from arranging a taxi, to finding a romantic restaurant to eat at. Would definitely recommend!!
As our first trip using airbnb, my fiancé and I weren't sure what to expect. However, Claudia and Marco turned our trip into an experience to remember forever. The place is easy to find with their directions and really is just right across the street from the subway. Claudia and Marco were always there for us with whatever we needed. The breakfast that they made every morning was amazing! They were able to answer questions and give advice on the city as well and always had a smile on their face! It was a great great great great experience and would highly recommend for anyone making a trip to Rome!
Marco & Claudia are v warm & hospitable. The room & bathroom are spotlessly clean & adequately furnished.
My daughter & I felt safe and comfortable. The location is pleasant, though little far from the more frequented places, its very accessible & close to the metro & bus stops.
As vegetarians, we knew that breakfast would have limited options for us, and so it was! We had the exact same things on all 3 days - fruits, breads & cheese.
Marco was extremely helpful in guiding us & Claudia also went out of her way to help with clothes as our luggage was misplaced for a day.
However, one negative for me was - lack of electric kettle in room. Some facility for hot cup of water was sorely missed. I needed to make tea for myself and had to request Marco or Claudia to provide a cup of hot water. It was often very inconvenient.
I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay overall in our home, although I am sorry that there were a few small things that did not satisfy you. Where breakfast is concerned, I felt that I tried my best to accomodate your dietary needs. We served you vegetables, milk, fruit, yogurt, biscuits made without eggs, and several other options. For future reference, what would you have liked me to serve for breakfast? As for the kettle, the main reason we do not provide a kettle in your private room is because we are concerned that it is a fire hazard. I am sorry that you did not feel comfortable asking me for hot water because I would have been more then happy to oblige. Thank you for your review and I will be sure to make note of your recommendations for future reference.
