Uji, Nara,Osaka is available by JR. JR Railpass holders take the most advantages. 7 min walk to Fushimimomoyama castle, you can also see it the window from the bedroom. The space
You can stay at the traditional Japanese style tatami rooms called Washitsu, which consist of 4 elements. First, Valuable Tatami is different from regular Tatami. Tatami-face is made of Nanasima Igusa. It has no edge, has a fine stitch, has square shapes and its size is half that of the regular Tatami. Second, Fusuma are sliding doors made up of wooden frames. Third, another type of sliding door and partition are Shoji, which are made up of wooden lattices covered in translucent paper. Forth, Tokonoma is recessed alcoves and are typically decorated by a hanging scroll in addition to a beautiful vase.

Guest access
There are three rooms only for guests in the 3rd Floor. The 1st floor is lobby and a editing room opened for all. Except for the whole 2nd floor where we live.

During your stay
Director Lee often goes shooting in regardless domestic and overseas for the TV programs or movie. Aki is a female lecturer of Korean languages of college. So we can socialize with the guests only on a weekend if you need.
Don’t hesitate to ask, we will make the most effort to arrange.

-Please note that a Kyoto City accommodation tax of ¥400 per person per night will be collected at check-in. Kindly pay in cash.

-If you stay the hotel near tourist sopts or historic sites, you might not see the ordinary life in Kyoto.

Fushimi Castle(7 min walk) is originally built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and the Teradaya is an inn at which Sakamoto Ryōma was attacked and injured about a year before his assassination. The water of Fushimi area is particularly famous and it is recorded as one of Japan's 100 best clear water spots. Also it is perfect for sake production. So Fushimi is a famous center of Japanse sake breweries and is where the greatset sake company Gekkeikan was founded.
