Located in the heart of Manzanita and only one block to the beach. Ours is a lovely rural Inn built in the 40's, family owned and operated continuously ever since. I believe you will find it well-maintained, affordable, clean and ready for your visit.
The whole town is quite walkable. Park your car when you arrive and browse the shops, restaurants and spas that Manzanita has to offer. Relax, and rejuvenate. Or head off to the nearby 9 hole executive golf course, hike up Neahkahnie Mountain, enjoy the two State parks at either end ... kayak ... or fly fish the Nehalem River. The world is your oyster here; and the oysters are fresh caught daily.
Your room abuts an inner garden where, on pleasant day, you can enjoy a book and the flowers, away from the cares of the world outside.
We think you'll find the room is spacious, queen-sized bed, and well equipped with a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV and DVD player. Wi-fi and a carefully selected library of DVD movies are complimentary (we're movie buffs). We have another room with a full kitchenette, if you're interested ask if that's available.
Please see pet confimration, and no smoking policy, below.
Please take good care of everything. No smoking, no pets unless a pet-friendly room is reserved by calling or email to confirm it's available. 48 hour cancellation, except special holidays like July Fourth. Two night minimum stay on weekends during Summer only; otherwise one night is acceptable (though we hope you'll stay longer; Manzanita is a lovely relatively undiscovered spot).
This room may be able to accommodate pets; you need to verify if a pet friendly room is available. The pet fee is $10/night. No smoking is permitted on the property.
Please see other policies and (email hidden).
It was a very welcoming environment. Bob was working the front desk with his darling dog Gucchi. A friendly fellow. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the neighborhood was great and so close to the beach!
What a little gem of a place to stay in Manzanita. Bob was super friendly and made my dogs feel welcome as well. It was a short walk to the beach and shops. Even my single room had a fridge and microwave. I brought my own DVDs to watch on the flat screen and they also had a good selection to choose from. I am looking forward to returning.
We loved our stay at the Spindrift Inn, the room was very clean, beds comfortable, parking was easy and best of all it was in the heart of downtown Manzanita and a block from the beach which stretches for miles. Staff was very friendly and gave us great tips for the rest of our vacation. Also, I appreciate that they have pet friendly rooms available. We will definitely stay here again, thank you!
This is our favorite place to stay while in Manzanita, OR. The Innkeepers are always very pleasant and personable. The rooms at the Inn are always clean. The office has free movies on DVD to borrow. I would highly recommend staying at the Spindrift Inn.
It was a relaxing, enjoyable experience staying at the Cozy Room. The man who helped us was friendly. I'd recommend staying here
This was my second time staying at the Spindrift, and it was just as I imagined. Comfy bed, close to the ocean, close to shops and restaurants. Furthermore, my host was so kind and helpful and made me feel right at home the moment I checked in. If you haven't been to Manzanita in the winter, I highly recommend it. The weather was perfect, the town was quiet, and the locals are just a dream (so kind, and friendly). Again, my host really made this experience the best by being so accommodating, and welcoming. Not only that, but he had so many recommendations to offer as far as restaurants, and hot-spots visit. Another wonderful visit!
We're glad you found your bed comfy, and our location convenient -- close to shops and restaurants. We want our guests to feel at home, and glad we achieved that, as we want you to have an exceptional experience when staying with us, which extends to your activities and meals during your stay.
We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Manzanita.
Bob, Innkeeper, Spindrift Inn
My fiance and I came down to Manzanita for the weekend to do some wedding planning/scouting in Cannon Beach for our upcoming nuptials. We wanted to stay in Manzanita because that is where we got engaged and we love the smaller feel to the town.
Bob, the innkeeper, was extremely friendly and helped to accommodate our incredibly late check-in (driving from Seattle got us in around midnight). He left our room lit and heated and even gave us a free upgrade to a suite. The next morning he chatted with us and provided some excellent suggestions for places to look into in Manzanita and Cannon Beach. He was available every time we needed him and gave us the after hours number in case we needed him even during off-hours - now that's commitment!
The room was clean and cozy. The bed and pull-out bed were both very comfortable. I loved the local artisan soaps they use in the bathroom - especially the oatmeal one! The location was perfect - a block from the beach and a block to the market and local pub. We walked up Laneda Ave to Bread and Ocean for the best cinnamon roll I think I've ever had (and a damn fine cup of coffee).
We will definitely be back! Thanks Bob and Stewart!
Thank you for staying with the Spindrift Inn, and the nice comments. We always want to make sure our guests have a great experience, tailored to what they want to do on their escape to the coast. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but we're glad that you were able to relax and enjoy your stay, as well as the surrounding restaurants, pub, and, of course, the nearby ocean! We hope to see you again before your wedding!

I'm in love with Nature and the North Coast of Oregon. Over a 30 year period I visited this area, learned to appreciate the community, and enjoyed the ability to explore and connect with Nature. So when the Millenniun arrived, my wife and I moved here full time, and bought a small Inn and Carmel Cottage.
I hope you will enjoy these lovely spots as much as we do. Please use the Cottage as a base for your stay in Manzanita - to skip along the 6 mile Beach, hike the Mountain, ride bikes in the park, shop our quaint stores, crab or kayak ... and explore the Coast.
But be careful; you may get hooked too. ;-)
