Everything was exactly as described. Scott kept in touch. Clean conditions. His roommates were very polite and helpful. It was a perfect place to stay for the night. Great location also.
Scott was a very kind and helpful host. The location was great with many stores and restaurants in the area and a Trax station a couple of blocks away.
Great location, perfect walking distance to plenty of things. I would stay here again if I visit SLC in the future. Housemates are polite and respectful.
Can't get any better with the deal and location of the home in proximity to downtown! Good for visitors because the public transport is close to the free-zone. I stayed as an athlete for the Summer Outdoor Retailer trade show. Comfortable weather, not too hot or cold when I stayed in SLC.
Busy house, but never had any conflict with space or bathroom waiting time even though there was one shared shower for the house.
A few of the images of the listing are outdated, ie there isnt a large living room it got converted to another room. There is still a comfortable living room downstairs!
FYI there are two adorable and friendly tuxedo cats that like to sneak into your room randomly at night if you dont close the door all the way. Haha I loved their company!
Assessable, free, and fast wifi. Hoping I can visit SLC again! I would stay at this location again.
Scott's place was very convenient for us to stay this one night in Salt Lake City. House was as described and arrival was very easy.
Scott was great to communicate with and very accommodating. He reached out to me quickly and was very responsive before I arrived and the whole process of getting into the house and getting settled was very easy. He even offered me food that he had cooked.
I will start off with the good, since there wasn't a lot of it: Scott's room (where I believe I stayed) was clean and the bed was comfortable. The place was dirt cheap. So I don't know what I expected. Guess I've been spoiled by my other airbnb stays. Which brings us to...
THE BAD: the central air/AC/whatever they have in Utah was broken - during the most recent heat wave when temps were 103+. I was not informed of this until I arrived and was greeted by a sweaty roommate. Not fun for sleeping. Brent (the roommate) was not unfriendly but not friendly either - I didn't interact with him much. The bathroom was not particularly clean. The location was not bad nor was it good. I was woken up at 7am by a woman (I would describe as a crackhead, but that's not very politically correct) screaming outside my (open, at the recommendation of Brent) window about "white trash stealing her AC unit". Well it certainly wasn't this household. This was the first airbnb place where I actually felt nervous for my cars safety when parking.
Overall, I would've given 2.5 stars, but the lack of communication about the broken AC unit brings it down to -1 stars. Save your money and go somewhere else.
