I stayed in this room at Scott's place while skiing at Alta. It had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable, I met some nice people, and plenty of things within walking distance. Thanks Scott.
Thanks for the hospitality, Scott! The room was great (way better than in the pictures!) and I appreciate that you were able to accommodate my last-minute request!
This cool old house (and urban farm!) in a great central location has great hosts, Scott and Brent, who were friendly, very easy to deal with and made me feel at home. The keypad entry makes arrivals, and coming and going hassle free and safe. Quiet, pleasant neighborhood yet so close to everything!
Good location, lovely hosts, what more can you ask for?
I would not recommend staying here. I do not like to give poor reviews however I did not feel safe. His place was located next to project housing and I was informed that there had been previous break ins. It was difficult to find his place. Granted I didn't check in until 11:30p but his house was completely dark. Although the price was reasonable I wish I had spent more money on a place where I could get a good night sleep without worrying.
Great location - walking distance to supermarkets, the library, bars, and trolley square. The house is friendly and clean, and if you like animals it's perfect. Easy parking, easy access to the freeway. I recommend staying here!

Scott's place was super easy to get to from the airport. Take the trax green line to the courthouse and walk 5 blocks. Very centrally located to everything you need- groceries, dining out etc.
My stay at Scott's was brief but he was super friendly and helpful with some web stuff I had mangled. Thanks for helping me sort it out- I figured out what I had done when I got home, Scott.
because of some reasons,i stayed in scott's house twice.i only saw scott twice, but many people live in that house,it is very funny.and the people there are very friendly.just like a dorm.and many many pets in the house,i think everyone likes the cat called leo.i like staying there and next time i still want to stay there
I definitely recommend that anyone traveling to SLC consider staying at Scott's place. It is very conveniently located and is within walking distance from a number of very good restaurants and bars. If you want to save money by not eating out, it is located very close to a Whole Foods as well as a Trader Joe's. It is also very close to a TRAX station if you prefer to use public transportation to get around town instead of renting a car. The room itself is basic but very clean and comfortable. So all in all, a great place to stay.
