Scott was very helpful and kind. Definitely someone I would recommend for a host! I would certainly book with Scott the next time I was in SLC.
Scott's house was well located, close to the center; the room was nice and cosy. I recommend this place if you're looking for a simple room in Salt Lake City.
Location and price were great. Some repairs to the place would make a better experience
Scott was a great host. The room and shared spaces were clean and easy to feel at home in and he provided me with some information on the local area which was super helpful & made my time in SLC even better. The house cats were icing on the cake, super sweet. Thanks Scott!
Scott was a gracious host. He was friendly and kind but also allowed me my own space. He offered fresh eggs from their chicken and coffee, though there is also a great coffee place just a few blocks away. The bed was incredibly comfortable, but bring your earplugs! The walls and ceiling are quite thin and there was a lot of movement late at night and early in the morning.
We had no problems at Scott's house. The listing was just as expected. I got nervous because just before I checked in I read some negative reviews, but it turned out my fears were baseless. A few things could have been tidier, but the room itself was clean and comfortable. Bed was good. House was very quiet, despite what some of the other reviewers had said. The last night the house was full, and two couples were sleeping in tents in the backyard... And although we all shared the 1-1/2 bathrooms there was no issues with noise, access... or any such problem. Easy to use public transportation, and good location in regards to grabbing lunch at Whole Foods, before heading off to our conference. So glad I made this reservation.... The price could not be beat. This is what AirBnB is about. Scott and Kim are the target culture.
Awesome host, great house, location is amazing close to everything!
Having eggs for dinner and breakfast was a treat, the shower was nice & hot, & the two cats were fun. I enjoy funky, eclectic, different, but this place was down right dirty - bed sheets seemed to be clean but that's it. The stove was almost unworkable with the broken knobs, etc. - thought I was in Russia for a while there! Sorry, guys, but not a great experience. It was also confusing because I thought the room upstairs was what I was getting - three rooms in the house are listed on Airbnb.
Very friendly and laid back people. Good vibe to the home, and I enjoyed my shorty stay!
