We really enjoyed our stay! Alex was super-friendly and was very responsive when we wanted to drop off our stuff earlier in the AM. Alex even gave us some great tips on places to eat and explore! The apartment was in a great area within walking distance of most things we wanted to do. I'd highly recommend staying with Alex!
Alex was very down to earth. He gave us inside information on the places to go around the city and gave us great recommendations on ways to spend our time! We fully enjoyed hanging out and talking with Alex. He is a great and funny guy and we fully enjoyed every second of our stay!
Alex was really friendly and gave us good restaurants recommendation. His description of the way to the house/room and garage was really good. We found everything. The bed was really comfortable, too.
The location of the building was really central. You don't need any buses. It is Downtown and everything is close to your "home". If you visit Toronto book this room - it's perfect!
Amazing place, can't beat the location. If this place is available for your dates, just book it!Alex will give you the best advice for places to go out to. My advice is...follow his advice.
The apartment was well situated in downtown Toronto, fairly close to major shopping, restaurants, and event centres.
Alex was a fine and courteous host, meeting us at the front door and taking us to the parking area. He gave us tips on where to eat, and how to get to our various destinations.
All that said, a lot more attention needs to be paid by Alex to the condition of the apartment. The bathroom should be spotless, and this was certainly not the case. There was black mould around the bathtub, the tile grouting was discoloured, the towel rail was rusty, and the inside of the door close to the door handle was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned in a long time if ever (this is where people touch the door with their bare hands to close it - ugh!). We were only at the apartment for two nights, and felt unable to shower because of the condition of the bathroom.
The inside of the main entrance door to the apartment was similarly filthy, and the light coloured carpet in the living room near the door was black with dirt and also clearly had not been cleaned in a long time if ever.
There were other items that were unsatisfactory, but at over $100 per night, we would have at least expected the place to be clean, and this was not the case here.
This is a great place to stay in Toronto! Great location and the room and bathroom are clean and as seen in the pics. Alex was a great host.
Alex is a very nice host. Our flight got cancelled and he let us stay there for one night. He responded to my inquiry right away. Alex was very generous and friendly while we were there. He seems like a fun person even though we only interacted for a few hours.
