  • Benilde was a great host and offers a great value for anyone looking to stay in the Civitavecchia area; we were in town overnight before a cruise and it was perfect (being very close to the port). The apartment is very nice, and coffee was made available, as well as an Italian breakfast at a nearby cafe.

  • Benilde is very pleasant, greeted us upon arrival, explained the B & B set-up, kitchen, breakfast & key return system. All was very organized & went like clockwork. The B & B is very clean & its location is perfect for access to the port of Civitavecchia. The area has lots of restaurants & shops.

  • Nice clean and large room close to the port and trainstation. Breakfast was at bar across the street. I recommend it to others.

  • If you expect to find real bed and breakfast- you will not find it there.Only bed.If you want to sleep there or to have rest before cruise after flight- it is impossible to do (website hidden) is a very noisy place- there are lots of bars direct under your windows. We couldn't sleep there all the night-lots of drunken people were crying all the night under our windows.! The breakfast is in a bar far from hotel. If you come to cruise and have luggage-be ready to walk with it alone, asking people to show you the way to the bar "Europa".I made some curcles and only with a help of police officer I found the bar"Europa".And it was a surprise- the breakfast was bad too.We were given an old bun and a cup of a not tasty something that it is impossible to (website hidden) wi-fi. I called the host to help me with connection. She gave me the code but it didn't (website hidden) a result-We had no Internet.
    I had there: No rest,no breakfast,no Internet.
The room was good, the WC was clean.
    But-The linen were not fresh.
No lift and you will carry your luggage to the 2 or 3 (website hidden) ready for it too!
You can't use kitchen there( even hot water!)You mustn't make tea( my Mama is 70 and she wanted some tea) It was late at night and we had to go outside to find a cup of tea, as Mother cought a (website hidden) the same time we had a nice kitchen in the flat- but not for guests!!!Even hot water!!!
So everything was like on the pictures but not for us.
Be ready-nobody will meet you, It took me about 45 minutes to find the hotel.
And it took me about half an hour to leave keys-as the host didn't respond me by telephone.
I will never come back there!

  • We wish we could have met our hostess or even have her follow-up with us, but she we didn't get a chance to meet with her. However, the email and directions to her place were quite clear and we were able to find her place with no major problems. Her friend helped us up to the B&B when we went to the shop. The internet access was excellent - there are complaints from other guests that it didn't work for them - please take note that the first letter of the password is not a Capital 'S' or whatever it was, vice versa. We noticed that error when it was written down because there is a correct one written on her router. Anyway, the place was shared by 2 other rooms and they were filled with guests, but there was no problems in sharing the washroom. The kitchen was a bit confusing in the B&B so we never really used it, but we ate our breakfast next morning at the nearby bar, which was also a bit confusing. We didn't know what we could order or what our breakfast entailed, but we managed to get a cappuccino, orange juice, croissant, and this pizza thing. (for two people). Since we had to drop our (email hidden), we took our luggage out with us. So it was a bit awkward to eat breakfast with our luggages beside us, but we were on our way after that. So it was an easy check out.

  • I am very pleased with my experience at the B & B Piazza Fratti, for its location and price overall it was very good. We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and needed a place to stay before taking a cruise at Civitavecchia. We enjoyed a great dinner in a restaurant just in front of the B&B.
Very nice places to eat and stores within walking distance. The internet is very good and easy to access.!!!
