Large room near Convention Center

House - Private room · Northeast Clackamas Street, Portland, OR 97232, United States

The Space

This comfortable duplex is located right on the light rail line from the airport and is close-in to all of the best neighborhoods and downtown.

The bedroom is pretty large (~200 sq. feet) and has a queen bed and a futon that each comfortably sleep two. The kitchen is fully furnished and available if you like to cook. There is only one bathroom, but I leave pretty early and I live alone.

This is a nice neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. One of the best things about the location is that it's 10 blocks from the light rail line which makes getting here from the airport quite easy (40 minute trip). You can take public transit to just about anywhere in the city quite easily.

Oh, and there's a great fireplace and a cute backyard as well.

  • Cameron was an awesome host! He was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The check in process was very smooth as well as the check out process. The room itself was nice and huge! And the beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this stay!

  • Cameron was a great host! He was very accommodating, easy-going and gave us lots of advice on things to see in Portland. We really liked the place as well. It's in a good location, the bedroom is huge so we had lots of space and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We didn't want to leave! I'd definitely recommend staying with Cameron when visiting Portland.

  • I recently moved to Portland and wanted to stay somewhere convenient and comfortable while I looked for an apartment to rent. Cameron's place was perfect for my needs and a great base for a few weeks. It is a nice house and well placed to get to different parts of town. Moreover, Cameron is a top guy. He's friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable and smart. I'd certainly recommend Cameron's place to anyone making a trip to Portland.

  • Cameron was a wonderful host; very thoughtful and easy to communicate with. He wasn't home very often but was easy to contact and replied very quickly to sms's.

The room is spacious with two very comfortable beds, and the home is beautiful. He let us use the washer and dryer in the basement and the backyard was great to sit in whilst having morning coffee.

The location is super convenient and I would recommend this airbnb to anyone wanting to visit Portland.

  • Cameron wasn't home the weekend my friend and I visited, but his girlfriend facilitated the experience for us and she was absolutely wonderful! She was truly a warm and thoughtful person. The bedroom we stayed in was fairly large, very clean and quite comfortable. The entire apartment was lovely and well-kept and the location was great too. What a wonderful time!

  • This was my first Airb&b experience and Cameron made it very enjoyable. The room I stayed in was comfortable and quiet with a comfy bed. Cameron is a nice, laid back guy and let's you know right off "what's mine is yours."

I did not spend a lot of time at the house only because it was my first time in Portland and I wanted to explore as much as possible in the small time I had. The location was perfect and allows you super easy access to the city and gives you a glimpse of a nice area just on the outskirts. The walk to the TriMet is quick and pleasant.

I definitely recommend Cameron as a host for any one else like me who wants to get away and enjoy all that Portland has to offer.

  • Cameron's house was close to a conference I attended, thus, my selection; i was able to walk to the conference site. The house is in a nice little older neighborhood, good for walking and hard by both Lloyd district and the Broadway district. Cameron was polite, kind and helpful and possessed a sense of humor. The house was clean, cozy and at my disposal. Washer and dryer too. A nice place to stay.

  • I finally met Cameron just the night before I left, because I came back late on the evening and he goes to work early ! But he kept sended me text, making sure I was alright and had anything I needed. And he kindly drove me to the car rental place on the morning I left. His place is nice, quiet, in a residential area, it's a little far from down town but still wakeable and you have all restaurants and shops you need just nearby.
