The queen bed in your lovely room! Very comfortable, and all art is courtesy of my very talented mother
This comfortable duplex is located right on the light rail line from the airport and is close-in to all of the best neighborhoods and downtown.
The bedroom is pretty large (~200 sq. feet) and has a queen bed and a futon that each comfortably sleep two. The kitchen is fully furnished and available if you like to cook. There is only one bathroom, but I leave pretty early and I live alone.
This is a nice neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. One of the best things about the location is that it's 10 blocks from the light rail line which makes getting here from the airport quite easy (40 minute trip). You can take public transit to just about anywhere in the city quite easily.
Oh, and there's a great fireplace and a cute backyard as well.
Just be respectful and have a good time! Portland is a fantastic city.
I do go to bed a bit early during the week, usually around 10 or 11, so please be quiet in the evenings. That's all I really ask.
Cameron was a great host! Very accommodating and helpful as a Portland ambassador.
Cameron was a great host and made me feel welcomed in his home. Along with picking me up for the airport, he is extremely knowledgeable about what to do and how to get around Portland. The room was very spacious and clean along with the rest of the house. The neighborhood is very nice with cafes and bars within walking distance as well as a light rail line going to downtown about a 5 minute walk from the house. I would definitely recommend staying at Cameron's when visiting Portland.
Perfect location with walking distance to restaurants, public transportation, or even downtown Portland. Cameron was extremely helpful and thought through every detail of making one's visit as easy as possible.
The room was large and in a nice neighborhood, convenient to public transportation, restaurants and the market. Our host answered all of our questions and provided us with maps and information for getting about.
He has a nice back yard for lounging around.
I had an awesome stay. Cameron was out of town when I got in, but his (delightful) parents met me at the house and we had a great chat. I rented a bike while I was there (protip: Waterfront Bicycles) and kept it in the living room.
I usually prefer to rent whole apartments rather than rooms; as far as rooms go, this one is as good as it gets!
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Always a pleasure to stay with Cameron! This time I took better advantage of all of the public transportation nearby - the MAX and the bus system are super reliable and easily accessed from his place. Getting to/from the airport was a breeze. Cameron does a great job of making you feel at home - like staying with a friend, but you can come/go at your leisure.
I'm from Portland, I LOVE to travel (just got back from Senegal), I own a digital marketing company, I love to learn, play soccer, hang out with my family, and meet interesting people. Um, should I say more? I'm not sure how detailed this profile should be.
