Private bedroom with private bathroom in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Room has new trundle bed, which pulls out to 2 single beds, if needed. This apartment is located in the exact center of San Francisco. Easy free parking on the street. Can arrange for garage spot in the building, if required. Small deck with views of Noe Valley, Bay Bridge and beyond. Also near Twin Peaks. Computer/wifi available, too.
Two blocks over and down the hill, past the park with the tennis courts, is the commercial corridor of 24th St.,the Noe Valley section of San Francisco. Here you would find the restaurants, shops, pubs and the Post Office. The #48 bus line comes up and down 24th St and stops one block from the unit. For travelers, a private ride service can be arranged. We also have access to a 28 ft sailboat, docked at Gas House Cove, next to Fort Mason and the Marina Green. We also have access to a 4 seat Cessna Skyhawk airplane for those interested in a Bay Tour.
Loved Kevin's apartment. We certainly had a nice view of the city. Kevin was very helpful for giving my sister and I a ride to Academy of Arts! He stocks the kitchen pretty nicely; Mandarins, Coffee, Bagels, Bread, and some Snacks. The bedroom gets a little bit compact when the bed is fully expanded, but it was worth it. The bed was phenomenal. Very Comfortable. Shower was great. (Girls, bring conditioner :P) Free parking was just right on the street. (Street cleaning on 1st and 3rd Mondays, so no Parking then.) The Muni is right around the corner. Loved the experience. Would definitely come back. :D
Kevin's place allowed us a great view of the city. Parking was surprisingly easy to find. It was close to where we needed to be, while allowing us a separate space of our own. We appreciated being able to bring our dog with us on our visit.
Kevin is a great host, his place is nice and welcoming.
Kevin is a very friendly host without being overbearing. We really appreciated that he gave us our space and privacy. He was very thoughtful to make sure we were comfortable. Free on street parking was always available. Very nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. Great hilltop views. Thanks again!
Kevin’s place in Noe Valley was exactly what we were looking for on our trip. Clean, secure, and comfortable, with an impressive vista of the city to the east from the balcony. The private bathroom and in-building coin-op washer & dryer were big pluses for us. Kevin was a great host, offering a refreshing drink when we arrived, bagels & OJ in the morning, and advice on how to get around and find what we needed. The MUNI 48-line stops right at the front door, which is the best way to get to and from without a car (puts you in the heart of Noe, Castro, or the Mission, where you can then connect to other points in the city). All in all, a great stay. Thanks Kevin!
I had an extended stay with Kevin while I spent my summer in the bay area. He was a good host and I would recommend staying at his place - it's clean and has a great view of the city. Our schedules were pretty different so there would times that we didn't run into each other for days but it was always great talking to him when we both happened to be in his apartment at the same time.
His apartment is on the top of a large hill but there is a bus stop that picks up and drops off right in front of the place. This bus route will take you to the nearest BART station on 24th & Mission.
I really enjoyed my time in San Francisco and Kevin was a great host. The home is easily accessible via the bus which runs regularly. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. He even had fresh flowers and bottled water which was very welcome after traveling. The private bathroom was clean, great water pressure and there was always hot water. I would recommend staying there if you're looking for a cost effective location in San Fran. Kevin was really nice and I felt safe in the neighborhood and in his home. On the down side, there's not much within walking distance, but once I downloaded the MUNI (bus system) app on my smartphone I was good to go and had no worries! Oh! and I managed to tap into his wifi (Thanks Kevin! :))
