Hi Abel, I am very sorry to hear you had a bad time and honestly a little surprised as I think I made myself very clear with you (with messages I can account for) telling you that my previous guest was just leaving and that I would be sending the cleaning lady so if you didn't mind you could begin setting things in the apartment for your commodity (that was at around 1-2pm when we had agreed you would arrive at around 5pm-6pm). My exact words where "I am sending someone to clean up so I hope you don't mind finding it as left by previous guest" Therefore I find it really contradictory to hear your complaint about feeling awkward by seeing the cleaning lady since you arrived at least 4 hours earlier than agreed and I warned you about this. On a side note, the previous guest had to return because he forgot his camera (I told you this as well) and honestly don´t know if you were expecting me to tell him to go back to Mexico City without the camera because you were about to arrive. I really encourage you to review your inbox in AirBnb so you can confirm that I never told you the apartment was ready...I told you “previous guest has left and I am beginning cleaning and all that”. Moving to the address issue, I told you: “The address is Calle Horacio Nelson, Costa Azul, Building name: Neptuno, Ground floor. It is the only apartment in the ground floor and the building is next to a veterinary and pet shop and in front of a White Church called Iglesia de Costa Azul.” The number was 550, not 500 (my bad, apologies). The building name is Neptuno although it doesn´t have the name in display like every other building you will find around the zone but I gave it to you in case you got lost and asked someone for help. Other than that, the address information is not vague , I gave you reference points and made a mistake in the number…agreed. I believe your opinion and grade is really bias, I personally feel it is unfair since you gave me the lowest grade possible in everything. You asked for my place 2 or 3 days before arriving, even one day before your arrival I warned you that I had other guests in there and that if you didn´t feel comfortable with the times in order for them to leave at around 5pm and me being able to clean everything up you should let me know and I would happily cancel the reservation…you told me there was no problem. I sincerely thought I was doing you a big favor by letting you stay for the day in my apartment booking it in so short notice because this time of the year it is almost impossible to find a place in Acapulco and the price I gave you would normally be triple as expensive but since this are my first experiences in AirBnb I decided to keep them very reasonable. I also thought you had no problem with the place since you never told me anything about all the problems you are pointing out regarding the interior of my apartment even though I kept constantly communicating with you and kept everything polite and friendly. I apologies if things were not as expected, I will talk to the cleaning lady because sheets should have been changed and if you had told me they weren´t I would have happily fix it. I also told you the gate keeper in the building would most probably not speak English and I think this is a big part of why there was misunderstandings to get in and settled. All around, I honestly don´t know if you were having a bad day with the long trip from Mexico to Acapulco or the hot weather or any other matter but my believe is that you are not being fair with your review and this unfortunately has an impact on my profile. Therefore I encourage anyone reading this to contact me and let me prove that my interest is that my guest find everything in order and receive what I promise them they will get. Apparently this all comes from a lack of communication but I believe this was from your part and not mine (again I have the saved messages of our conversation, I believe you do so and would kindly ask you to read them), I even gave you a good grade and comments thinking we were in the same page and comfortable with everything. Finally, if you are still reading this, let me know if you feel comfortable with a refund. I have no problem in doing so even though you never addressed all this complaints directly to me and my grade and your comments have already impacted my profile with other AirBnb users in a negative way. Believe me, the one day stay at so low price compared to your as low as it gets review is really not worth it. However I am confident that I will keep getting positive reviews from all my other guests (like the one below) and this will all stay in the past. Apologies are clearly in place since I am finding out you were not comfortable and there are no excuses for that, I hope you had great holidays and undesrtand I am not trying to start a wave of discussion with you I am just trying to make everyone who read your comment realize there are both sides to every story and that my intentions with the AirBnb are to make them feel comfortable and happy in my apartment and if that is not the case I am willing to ammend the problems that are my responsability (regardless if the first time I hear from them is in the public review page or personally by message).
