Queen size bedroom or other bedroom with twin beds is available with a private bathroom (with shower over bath ) in a residential home. Kitchen available at all times. .Breakfast available and linen provided. Public transport ( bus ) in same street. Moderate walk to coast and city centre. Visitors would be made to feel "at home" in my home. Whale watching a popular tourist attraction. Plenty of restaurants - easy travel to Port Fairy to the west or Port Campbell and The Twelve Apostles. Guests can smoke outside. My latest guests enthusiastically walked into town and to the beach. There is so much to see and do around Warrnambool and although the weather can sometimes be wet and windy it is well worth a visit.Having had a number of people to stay now I believe there is so much to see and do from here that it might be wise to book for two nights. Many people come down the GOR and then belatedly realise what great places they could visit from here ( Timboon Cheese Factory and the Distillary, Port Fairy, Tower Hill etc ) , how many restaurants they could visit and what a great place it is that the majority of guests wish they had the flexibility to stay a little longer. My place is not unique but it is certainly very comfortable.
Helen was a wonderful host! She made us an absolutely delicious dinner, dessert, and breakfast in the morning, and was a ton of fun to talk to and get to know. Love her place too, especially the sun room and backyard. Highly recommended!
We had the best time staying with Helen. Her house is lovely and clean and we slept in the most comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. You could not wish for a better host than Helen, she is just adorable. If in the area, we will definately stay with her again!
I have been called many things in my life - but adorable is very kind. I believe you two were pretty adorable yourselves - Jay is unforgettable as he is a clone of my much loved nephew. Have a wonderful time back home in Germany but come back to see me because it was such fun. Helen.
Helen is such a special person and we really enjoyed our visit with her. Would like to have stayed longer to get to know her better. She was so welcoming and even provided us with a lovely evening meal. She gave us some information on a few place to go and look at in Warmwarrnambool and sent us off for a whirlwind visit of the town. We didn't have much time, but fit in all that we could. Her home is quite close to everything and with her directions we found our way around. Would highly recommend this b&b as it is a very nice home and a warm and gracious host.
Helen was an amazing host. Put a lot of effort in to making sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything that we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the food was amazing! Thank you for the wonderful stop over on our trip!
Helen's place was truly a luxurious surprise!! We had a beautiful room, very comfy bed and wonderful facilities to use. The house is very modern and beautifully decorated throughout. Helen made us feel like family - she feed and welcomed us with the most amazing and delicious dinner. This is a real 5 star B&B experience!
Thank you for your warmth and generosity Helen. We highly recommend a stay with her - we will be back!

We stayed with Helen after a long day driving along the beautiful great ocean road. Helen's welcome was absolutely amazing: such a warm and cheerfull person she is and delicious quiche&salad was waiting for us, she even made us carrotcake, which was the best ever!! Besides al this delicious food, we slept in a beautiful bedroom with very good bed. Thanks again Helen, we really enjoyed staying with you and regret that we couldn't stay longer. Next time we will! You are a great host!
Helen is a wonderful host! She is like the family you have always wanted. Her welcoming dinner made us feel right at home. We loved our short stay with her. We will be going back to Helen's anytime we are on the Great Ocean Road. We will always remember our rollicking laughs!
We stayed over Christmas (phone number hidden) and it was a wonderful time. The accomodation is a beautiful place and Helen is a extraordinary person. We were invited to christmas dinner and Helen showed us what Australians normally do on these days. On 25.12: They burn a christmas cake with coins inside until it is completely black - STRANGE; On 26.12 they make a little hole at the bottom side of a filled olive oil bottle and spill it around the kitchen - even stranger and I asked myself how she made this little hole in the bottom of the bottle.
Helen took both disasters with a smile; others would cry - she is a great person.
We definitly recommend this place to everybody and would like to come back.
This was our first bnb stay experience. Helen is very cheerful yet caring host and sure a lovely granny who is very good in making birthday cakes. She is truly an ambassador of Warrnambool who introduced lot of place of interests to us on our first day of arrival (well, I think she did a great job). Stay at her place gives you a home feeling. The bed was clean and tidy. Yes the heart shape chocolates did gave us a little surprise! Her house is beautiful decorated with a nice backyard garden. The breakfast was good and my little boy loves it.
Helen’s home is strategically located where is not very far to go to Towerhill national park, Flagstaff Hill, Alansford Cheese factory, Port Fairy etc. The grocery stores like Woolworths, Hardy Norman or restaurants are very closeby.
There is a whale watching platform by seaside just few miles away from Helen's. I would recommend anyone to visit the place even if is not whale season, as watching the sunset is another romantic things to do. The golden sunset plus great sea view was a magnificent moment we’ll never forget.
We spent only one night, and I wish we could stay longer :) Helen is definitely a good person, we really felt like home, breakfast was delicious! The house is lovely, she was by far the best host we had even amongst the acredited BnB
