Location just minutes to city. Suzi & Elvis made us feel welcomed & at home the minute we walked in. Great place, highly recommended!!!
The room was cozy and clean, exactly as described. There was a very well equiped kitchen with a big fridge. I stayed most of my days outside, but the time in the apartment was very nice. The hosts was very helpfull. Definitly a good place to stay for a trip to NY at a good price.
Thursday is the hamburguer night at the Dillingers Pub & Grill, good prices, friendly people and a delicious hamburguer
The room was exactly as shown on the photos and there was even a kitchen where you might cook and store things in the fridge to save some money. Astoria itself has a very nice neighborhood and it was easy to get downtown. We would definetely recommend staying here while in NY! Thank you Suzi and Elvis!
My friends and I had a great time in NYC and the room in Astoria was perfect. Everything was clean and there is lots of space in the apartment. Thank you Suzi and Elvis!
Great spot in a nice location in Astoria. Room was exactly as described, about a 15 min walk to the subway. Bed was comfortable and we were provided with a space heater so the room was plenty warm. The place was also very quiet at night. The hosts were a little slow at responding to texts once we were in New York but otherwise it was a great experience.
Nice apartment and neighbourhood. I enjoyed my stay. Suzi was helpful. Thank you!
Very clean, subway within walking distance, nice neighborhood. Privacy was respected while still being easy to get in touch with. Would recommend :)
I had a great experience staying here during a very cold stretch of January. Even though I arrived very late in the night, the communications with Elvis was great and he was very accommodating to my requests with immediate responses. The neighborhood is quiet (very important in NY) and safe. I walked regularly to some great local restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is also close to the train that is 4 stops away to Manhattan. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The rest of the apartment's main area included a great kitchen with appliances.
Overall, the value is unbeatable when you consider the price, location and amenities!
Recommended. Suzi and Elvis' place was easy very easy to find and staying was as hassle free as one could hope for, also all the amenities listed on the add were provided and working. Astoria has a wealth of inexpensive local restaurants and two subway stations relatively close make visiting other parts of NYC easy. On weekends one should maybe check the timetables before venturing ahead via metro, as the connections were quite quite few. Though this might just be because some subway lines we're not running on at the time of our visit, due to the maintenance of the tunnels. All and all, would definitely stay again with them.
Was a great first airbnb experience. The neighborhood was safe. There was quick access to the subway. The room we had was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay.
