We spent a total of nine weeks at the condo, from early May through early July, 2017. The condo was perfect for our needs with a great location, fantastic view, and excellent internet. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the condo was cleaned weekly by a maid. The condo was accurately described by Warren, as well as others who have stayed there. The condo is located on a large hill that overlooks the west side of Cuenca from the bedroom. We liked the location because it was less than a five minute walk to the bus stop, and we could also easily get a cab from the same location. The internet is fiber and was amazingly fast. The TV was large and connected to the internet for streaming. As a techie, I greatly appreciated the setup. For five of our first nine days there, we had no water due to a break in a water main caused by a landslide from heavy rains. This was truly an anomaly. There was no support from the owner to bring us water which was our only disappointment the entire time we were there. We were impressed though with the book he has written that helped us find our way around town. Warren did take us to the airport upon our departure, and offered to send a jacket I had left behind. Make note, the elevation of the condo is 8,800 ft. We would recommend this condo as it had everything we needed, great location, view, internet, and well equipped.

Response from Warren:
I am glad that Steve & company liked our condo. I am sorry that he had trouble contacting me that first five days about the lack of water. I am working to correct the communication problem. I arrived from a 45 day trip to Europe the same day that Steve arrived. I had a monumental struggle to get my Internet fixed and working and had no reception from Steve. (It had been broken the whole time that I was traveling with no attempt to correct it even though I had complained three times.) Visitors must realize that Ecuador is a third world nation. Sometimes we have to be super patient. Here, the word mañana only means "not now" - maybe never. I now have two Internet contracts with different companies. And one of the internets is down again for two days. It is just the way it is here.

We enjoyed our stay. We felt safe and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The apartment was also very clean. It's a bit far from the city center but taxis are abundant, inexpensive and safe.

Warren offers a very comfortable fully equipped apartment for the traveler in Cuenca. We were there for a month; it felt like home. The view is really nice. We spent more than one morning sitting in the warm sun on the patio overlooking the south part of the city drinking our coffee. Manny was very helpful and replaces the gas tank very quickly when it ran out. The water ran out a few times but was back with little disturbance to our routine (which is part of the routine everywhere in Ecuador). We had a comfortable, relaxing stay. The apartment is more than we would have expected for the price.

It is indeed the best view of Cuenca. Warren was fantastic. He met us at the airport and stopped at the grocery store for us to get a few things before we went to the condo. He showed us how to operate everything. He was always available for questions and was very timely answering. The apartment was very roomy and had all the necessities. A great place to stay.

This was a perfect place to stay. All of the modern amenities one needs with great hot showers and super comfy beds, an awesome patio and close to the city but far enough to sleep without trucks rolling by or car alarms going off. Warren and Manny were very responsive. If you catch a taxi in the street you can get to and from "el centro" for $3 either way... If you forget something at the grocery store you can go down to the little tienda on the corner for basic necessities. We will definitely try to come back!

Warren Manny and Pepe were very good about giving me a good idea of the area and help finding my way around. The view was great and the access to taxi's made getting up and down the hill very easy. The place was very clean and comfortable.

Warren made us feel very welcomed and was good about keeping the communication open. His manual was an excellent reference. Any issues were resolved so as we both were happy! Nice apartment! Beautiful view!

Married, retired It professional who has lived all over the USA. See my personal web site at WE own the condo that we live in, and are really enjoying Cuenca and Ecuador. My wife and I have traveled much of Europe and now that we have recently moved to Ecuador, we plan to visit most (if not all) of South America. One of our boys is an airline captain, now working for American Airlines. The other is studying geology at UTEP. Our ability to speak Spanish is limited, but improving. I still use translators - both human and iPhone.
