  • Alessandra was very welcoming and willing to do whatever she could to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.

The BnB accommodation was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the surrounding area. They also have wonderful wine and olive oil.

The only thing that stopped us rating this five star is the noise from the nearby road, which we realize is beyond Alessadras control, but it did detract from our overall experience.

    Response from Alessandra:

    THANK YOU
THE ROAD IS NEAR, BUT I DONT THINK THE NOISE FROM THE ROAD DISTURB YOU, BECAUSE YOU SLEEPED EVERY DAY UNTIL 11AM. AND SPENT ALMOST THE TIME IN THE HOUSE.

  • My husband Bob and I spent 9 nights with Alessandra. What a beautiful experience. The farm house is warm and cozy and beautifully appointed, such fabulous taste!!
Our room was sunny and happy and very clean with a wonderful view of the Tuscan country side.
We had two meals prepared by Alessandra and they were so delicious, prepared and served with love.
We had access to her beautiful kitchen and enjoyed cooking and shopping for food very much.
The setting is breath taking and the convenience to Florence easy. The train is 5 minutes away, very reasonable and only a 30 minute ride to the old city.
We were also close enough to drive to Pisa, Luca, and one of my favorite places the famous designer Mall. ( so close 20 minutes, what a hoot!! )
Most of all we loved being around Alessandra. She is warm, accommodating and speaks great English.
Just a great time. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

  • Great location, nicely furnished rooms. Good communication with the host before and during our stay. She was very helpful to arrange pick-up at the railway station in Florence and to organise sightseeing tours to Lucca (worthwhile) Florence and Pisa. Also it was already late September, we still could use the pool and enjoyed the evenings sitting outside in the garden drinking the local wine from the own vineyard.

It is a bit out of the way though. If you want to discover the area , you better have a car yourself.

Lovely experience, lovely host, worthwhile staying at a typical farmhouse.....

  • Our stay here was one of our favorite parts of our trip. We had the entire place to ourselves as no other guests were checked in. It was quiet, serene and absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the local restaurants that were recommended by Guilia and Alessandra very much. This is exactly as pictured - just beautiful!

  • Had a very nice stay at Alessandra's bed and breakfast. The place is situated in the Italian countryside outside Florence and is very beautiful. A continental breakfast is provided by the host.

Would reccommend staying in this lovely spot if you want to get out of Florence and experience the charm of the Italian countryside.

  • We had a great four-night stay at Alessandra's farmhouse in Tuscany. We stayed in a lovely flat with a kitchenette, a double sofa bed, separate bedroom with two single beds, and a nice bathroom. Alessandra is a very welcoming hostess, and one evening everyone who was staying gathered together for a typical local meal cooked by Alessandra, enjoying wines produced from her vineyard. I would highly recommend this accommodation. However, be aware that it will take you at least 30 minutes to drive into Florence from the farm, longer if the traffic is heavy (the road winds through a number of small towns), and some time to find parking once in Florence. Catching the train into Florence, if you have a car to drive to a nearby train station, or Alessandra drives you to the station, may well be a less stressful option!
We had no trouble finding the farm after we typed in the exact GPS coordinates into our TomTom navigation device.

  • Amazing, amazing, amazing! I'd heard the Agriturism business was booming in Italy - but, this was the first time I'd had the opportunity to check out such a location. We initially had a problem with locating Alessandra's place - it's #29, NOT #39 as listed on airbnb.. and it's just past the town's edge its address is listed under - so,initially, I didn't drive quite far enough (really is easy to get to). Although it's on this main road, the home is set back and the traffic was just a slight "hum" in the background. Her pool was perfect to relax in after spending the day in Florence.... of course, with a bottle of Alessandra's wine! It was perfect to escape the crowds of Florence, yet be able to drive 20 min or so to get in to Florence.

  • Alessandra is a fantastic host and her villa is the perfect place for a romantic get away or a gathering of friends. Just 30 minutes from Florence you will be absorbed by the Tuscan sun on her terrace or hillside pool. You will enjoy her family's own selection of wines and walk the vineyards and olive groves. The "light" Tuscan meal she made for us one evening was fantastic and her recommendations for local restaurants were perfect. She is a host who is passionate about people and about her region. We can't wait to return.

  • Beautiful property, a really wonderful host and the most delicious Tuscan food! We will certainly be back again!

  • Nice location. Smart & Simple. Ideally for those who want to discover the Tuscany region. Alessandra is an excellent host.

About
Hello, my name is Alessandra; Together with my husband and my two children, we would like to tell you all about our agriturismo, our working farm, which is a small estate in the hills close to Florence. The vineyard, the olive trees, the cellar and our farmhouse, which we have converted into an agriturismo (farm), reflects the origin of this environment, where our guests can relax and enjoy our reality. I have a dream now: I would like to initiate a cultural point, related to the deeds of this territory (wine and food tasting, art exhibitions and educational activities). I hope to succeed in this project, not only for my own satisfaction, but also so that I can offer my guests the opportunity to experience the culture of this region, and the values of our people, thus creating a harmony between our farm and our guests. Also to establish the initiation of a long term, long distance friendship; You will hopefully feel that a part of your being belongs to our land. Welcome, Alessandra
