This appartment is a true taste of the beauty and luxury the Eternal City is famous for. Hardwood floors, elegant chandeliers and sophisticated furniture, the tastefully decorated flat offers a fully equiped kitchen, a large sitting/dinning room with 2 lovely French balconies which are also present in the master bedroom and in one of the other bedrooms with 2 single beds. All 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, 2 of them have showers and the master bedroom has a bathtub.
It is located in the area surrounding the famous Piazza Cavour, dedicated to one of the founding fathers of united Italy, Count Cavour. The area is very well served by buses as this square is one of the major hubs of the city. Nonetheless, it can also be an ideal starting point for enchanting strolls as it is close to landmarks such as Castel Sant’Angelo and St. Peter’s, along with the sophisticated and lively shopping lane Cola di Rienzo.
On a relaxing night in, while not exploring the city, the apartment provides a flat-screen TV and a docking station, ideal to add a personal touch to the soundtrack of your Roman adventure!
How to get here:

We'd like our guests to be informed that since the 1st of January 2011 Rome City Council is asking for an overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city. This fee, 3.50 euros per night (10 nights maximum) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years and in Rome residents), is not included in the total rate, and has to be paid cash upon arrival.
For arrival after 8.30 pm an extra fee of € 35 is required. You can pay the late check-in fee cash directly to your greeter.
This was a nicely appointed flat located in the city center, close to Vatican City. The flat was perfectly comfortable for our group of 6. The check-in process went smoothly and the host was kind enough to wait 30 minutes since our travel was delayed. A great experience and well recommended.
Lovely apartment in great, if slightly noisy location (the Italians do love their car horns!). Clean and comfortable. Really convenient for all the sights and good local restaurants and shops. The only comment I would make, is that the main room only has one sofa and the dining table in it, so there wasn't really anywhere to sit and relax as a family.
Emiliano and Marie Luisa were very prompt and helpful in their communications and arranged taxis for us to and from the airport. Their representative, Pietro, let us into the apartment and was really informative and friendly.
The apartment and location were superb. Big rooms, individual bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely living space. Hosts are very responsive and flexible. Location is ideal - 20 mins walk from Spanish Steps and the area is full of fabulous local restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend this apartment.
Emiliano's apartment was wonderful! It was centrally located in a safe neighbourhood, apartment was spacious, steady wifi and hot water. Tons of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone :)
The apartment was amazing it is on a prefect location and we could not have loved it more.
It was perfect for 7 girls and there was enough space for all of us .We did not meet Emiliano or Maria-Luisa , but they where very responsive to emails, and successfully arranged two airport pickups and drop-offs - 60 euro's per trip. The apartment itself is very spacious and very clean.
The apartment is on a great location so close to everything so we could walk everywhere… In every aspect it was a great Roman Holiday in our prefect apartment !!!Thank you !!!
We had an amazing vacation. We felt like we were locals. We'd definitely come back to this apartment if we were visiting Rome again.
We never met Emiliano, but he was very responsive to text messages, and successfully arranged two airport pickups and drop-offs - 50 euro's per trip. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. Living room is a little oddly configured, needs more armchairs perhaps. The neighbourhood is really well placed to walk to anywhere in the city, and there are lots of small local restaurants nearby. I won't say inexpensive or great restaurants, but it's convenient. Probably the best of them is Dino Express (that has some negative reviews on Yelp, Tripadvisor), but actually is super friendly and had the best food on our trip. Gracci Gelateria about 5 blocks north is wonderful. We also liked Grand Caffe on Cavour Square itself. There's several small grocery and bakery less than 2 blocks aways.
My only negative observation, is that the street noise late at night (say between 11pm and 2am) is intermittently really noisy, with small groups of people from the local restaurants lingering under the windows and talking loudly before slamming doors and revving engines. If you are coming with kids from a long way, and have jet-lag or other sleep issues, bring ear-plugs and sleeping pills. The windows are double glazed, two sets of wooden shutters, and relatively good drapes, so I'm not sure Emiliano could do more to mitigate it - it's just the price of city living. Other points: The beds are super-hard - maybe not to everyone's taste, but I liked that. The kitchen isn't super well equipped, but better than many I've stayed at in the US via (website hidden).
It would be hard to be more satisfied with Emiliano's well-appointed and perfectly located apartment and his gracious hospitality. The apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious, and we had more than enough room for five (two couples and one child). Emiliano arranged for a car to meet us at the airport and provided a lovely Christmas pandoro and basket of fruit on our arrival. We were easy walking distance to the Centro Storico and the Vatican but out of the thick of the tourist traffic. There was no shortage of green grocers, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacies, shops, and gelataria in the neighborhood. We felt so Italian sipping our espresso in the morning at the window as Rome zipped or strolled by!

Open minded, love travel, new places, music and people. We'd be happy to provide our guests with the best tips to visit and enjoy the city - away from touristic mainstream! We are from Rome and really know what's going on in town.
