About this listing
I live alone in Hannover in the eastern part of the city which is a very nice area with a lot of small coffees and sweet shops. It is also very idyllic quiet place and there is a big forest very close to my home where you can go for a walk or run.
I have a one room apartment in the 3rd floor with one double bed and one big couch where a third person could sleep if you are more guests.
I don't have pets, I don't smoke but you can smoke on the balcony if you feel like smoking.
Public transport is just around the corner and I live only one station with the tram from the main train station which is in the city centre. It is also a walking distance (950 meters).
I offer blankets, towels, high-speed internet access, washing machine, hair dryer etc.
You will have the apartment totally for yourself while renting it.
The apartment was really convenient for getting around and extremely comfortable. There are lots of very nice restaurants and shops in the area where the apartment is situated so there is no need to go back to the centre at night unless you want to.
Irene made us feel very welcome as was incredibly helpful in getting us to understand the travel system in Hannover and how to find our way around. We were there on business so had to get to particular places. Her English is excellent, which is a great help when your German is as rusty as mine!
Irene also recommended some places to eat while we were there which was helpful.
My second stay at Irene's apartment was as enjoyable as the first. The apartment is big and comfortable, and very nicely furnished. I also appreciated very much that it's very bright with its big window and clear interior. Even a little sun is enough to make the place bright and cheerful.
In my previous review I already mentioned all the advantages of the apartment, but the most important thing is that I felt at home and very comfortable there. Irene travels a lot and I didn't have the opportunity to spend much time with her, but we communicated a lot by e-mail, by sms and by phone, and she always was very nice and helpful.
I definitely recommend this apartment.
This is a very nice apartment in a very good location. The apartment is ample, comfortable, well illuminated and well furnished. It's basically true to the description and the photos in the listing. It has a big bedroom/living-room, bathroom and complete kitchen with balcony. The bed is good and I could sleep very well. WiFi is also good, which was important for my work. The kitchen only lacks a microwave oven, otherwise it has all the necessary appliances, including an excellent washing-machine. Irene is a lovely host, very nice and helpful. I'm glad that I'll be staying there again after going to Berlin for a few days. If you have problems with stairs, please note that the apartment is on the third floor without elevator.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Irene's apartment. It's located right next to the pedestrian street Lister Meile with a lot of shops and restaurants around. There is also a forest nearby with a great play ground, so this area is kids friendly. The apartment is basically one room studio with a separate kitchen and a balcony where we had breakfast) The communication with Irene was great. She prepared everything nicely to our arrival and she was always ready to help if there was something.
Thank you so much, Irene! We had a wonderful time discovering Hannover!
Irene's place was nice and clean, and exactly what I needed while attending the Hannover Messe. Fast & easy connection to the train station, and lots of options within walking distance.
Communication was clear and easy from the start, and Irene was thoughtful to leave water, a bit of food, and fresh flowers for me.
Our stay at Irene's home was perfect. The apartment was clean, perfect localization and it had everything we needed. Irene was very kind, explained everything to us and always replied our e-mails fast and with lots of tips about the city, restaurants, etc... I definitively recommend this apartment! We was there for the CEBIT and there was easy transportation.
Lovely, homey apartment within walking distance of the main station in Hanover. I stayed for 3 in Feb 2014 and it had everything i required. It was just as the pictures show and communicating with Irene was super easy. A friend of her's dropped off a key right as I got to the front door.
Would definitely recommend it.
