Bring your horses or reserve a ride (prices vary) during your stay. The Side Eye Ranch is a 501(c)3 dedicated to rescuing abused horses and other animals in need. Our 10-stall barn with turnouts and paddocks are available to equine transporters, those looking for a comfortable place to layover with their horses, and anyone that would love the experience of staying at a true working horse facility. Booking the comfortable new loft/bunkhouse includes a stall.

The space
The space is small and quaint. It stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We spent a lot of time and money insulating the space.
You are right in the barn, but inside your stay you wouldn't know it.
The space is ideally for 2 adults and maybe your kiddos or just you and a friend or partner.
It’s not really equipped for 4 adults. It’s lovely and way cool. We just want you to enjoy it and that’s why the price is so reasonable! The main area, downstairs is the living room with a pull out couch, bathroom, little kitchen, and eating nook.
Our water is spring water so if you love cool showers in the summer it's your place.
ADDITIONAL adults will be charged $50 per adult.
**please reach out for horse riding. We have a nice trail around the backside or down the street... Or we can haul to local trails. Hourly rates apply $65-$125

We have a large drive through driveway. Please only park on gravel and never on grass or sand.

We are about 20 minutes from everything you would need. We are about 20 plus minutes from: *the Luling pool!
***The Guadalupe river *** the Seguin wave pool! ***Great family owned restaurants and wine stores and so much more. *** We are almost right in the middle, so you chose, head to Gonzales, head to cute Luling town center, or head to Seguin for some small city time.... its all about the same distance, 20-20plus minutes.

Lives in Austin, Texas
Troy and Jaclyn are Texas natives and split their time between their homes in Austin and Lake Zurich. Troy is a former Marine and now owns a consulting company. Jaclyn is a successful writer and actor with her work currently on Amazon, HBO, and others. They met on a ski trip in high school and it took 25 years for Troy to muster up the courage to ask her on a date (he’ll tell a different story about being busy hunting Al Qaida for 20 years but she knows better). When they aren’t working they enjoy all things outdoors… from leisurely swimming and hiking to playing polo and Muay Thai fighting. Thanks for staying at our AirBnB!
