This beautiful double room features a magical sleeping room and a second room that features a sitting area and breakfast /mini kitchen area. On two major bus lines, come enjoy the burgeoning arts district just minutes away from downtown
Our new Sunny space has a private room from the 1904 vintage era. This building has a VERY interesting history and features comfortable rooms with lovely wood floors and wainscotting down the hallways. Restored with antiques and your very own private room and an AMAZING large (think mexican tiled heaven with 6 showerheads)tiled bathroom that is shared only with the other air bandb room.. Our new space is surrounded by art and creative studios with our resident Jack Russell wandering around to say hello occasionally. Dog is kept out of the guest rooms but they probably are not allergy free. You will have full access to our kitchen and it's cooking facilities.Your room is your own private sunny space. Although your room is private you share the building with the owner and her own art studio and artists from diverse back grounds who are very respectful of all guests. This space is lovely and fairly quiet but don't expect crickets singing as this is NOT a suburban area, it is an industrial Arts district. This is a tidy but eclectic space and it is a creative oasis that is easily accessible to and from downtown Seattle., The neighborhood is the Industrial Arts District and lots of fun shops and coffee shops within feet of our door. Easy access to many tourist attractions via bus that goes in front of the house to downtown Seattle. The room is tidy and all amenities are available to you plus an amazing guest bathroom appropriately named the Barry white :-). Please feel free to purchase food and use kitchen at your leisure. Coffee/tea/ in the morning if you (website hidden) will provide all linens, towels, hair dryer, curling irons ect. If you have a special request please feel free to ask, we probably have it....we have everything. This building is lovely and is 112+ years old so please be respectful of her and she will provide you with a sweet oasis from the bustling city. We enjoy making your stay comfortable. Animal friendly Children are welcome to come with you with pre approval and $150 damage deposit. This building is easy access with bus across street/great neighborhood with 15 minute ride into downtown. You will have lots of fun but if you do not want a fun cultural experience then you probably want to stay in a vanilla flavored hotel. Many guests have enjoyed their stay in Georgetown with us ,as you can see from the reviews . We will try to help you get around and be comfortable in your stay. Easy access to downtown and points beyond, wifi and great shops within a rocks throw. You will be provided with an amazing map of Georgetown and a lonely planet guide to Seattle upon your arrival. Interaction with Guests
I have a hands on warm approach to guests but also give them their own space to relax and enjoy our space
Lots of restaurants (see our guide book) bars, coffee shops and antique /eclectic stores. We also have a huge parking lot and busses right across the street. This neighborhood is still a tiny bit gritty but is honestly more sparkly than a few years ago. Come see it for yourself
Yes two busses across street, they go into downtown in less than 20 min

Also special note even tho Mary Jane is legal now the host is allergic to it so please ask about the smoking area if you would like to partake of that special little weed.
Great place, friendly folks living and making art in the old restored hotel. Craft beer and burgers downstairs. Great place to stay in the heart of Georgetown.
Angielena was a lovely host! I was stuck in traffic with no cell phone reception, and 2 hrs late for my check in, she graciously welcomed me and showed me around the art centre. It's in a great up-n-coming neighborhood especially if you're into one of a kind shops, it's a fun area with great food and loads of art. It was a fun experience overall!
The location of Angielena’s place was good for our needs, although if you have a car, you can get around much easier, as Angielina’s place is a 20-minute bus ride to Seattle central. Free off-street parking is available. If you don’t have a car, you can access the bus right across the street in front of the building, which is nice. During our 3-night stay, we greatly enjoyed Angielina’s warm hospitality. She was personable, very helpful and attentive to our needs. She recommended several local restaurants and events, like the St. Gennaro (Italian) festival on Saturday night. The bed was comfortable and the room of adequate size. Overall, we found the room and building pretty much “as advertised.” The large bathroom was well stocked with all the essential personal care products.
We found several local restaurants to be excellent: The downstairs pub, a superb Mexican place, and the Hangar Café (breakfast and lunch). Also---there’s a good craft beer tap room just across the street. We also liked that the Enterprise Rental Car location is 5 minutes away----and they will pick you up.
Thank you Angielena for making our first AirBnB experience a pleasant one! From the start, she was very accommodating and helpful with her suggestions. The room was exactly what we were expecting and the rear balcony "lounge" area was perfect to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. I definitely will recommend to friends.
Angielena is a wonderful host! She gave me an enthusiastic tour of their lovely historic building & amenities & is definitely passionate about what she does there and enjoys sharing the neighborhood. Helpful, cheerful, just the best. The room was as described (and cuter!) with plenty of room to kick back & relax in the sitting room after a long day. The bed was comfy ( I slept really soundly) & that shower! You simply must see it for yourself. The other residents & guests I met were exceedingly polite & welcoming. I love the care taken with restoring this building & enjoyed being surrounded by the artistic atmosphere. Georgetown is an amazing little eclectic neighborhood with superb food & drink choices. I wish I could have spent MORE time there. Nothing but positive things about to say about the whole experience. Thank you so much Angielena~!
I couldn't have been happier here! The building is full of 1920s charm - flapper dresses hang from some of the doors, there's art everywhere, gorgeous plants, (some of the units here are actually art studios), beautiful hardwood floors, crown molding, long drapey curtains, etc.
LOVED the neighborhood - hip industrial style bars, cute restaurants converted from old houses, and right outside our window was a flea market housed by trailers. So cute.
Angeleina was great - she spent over an hour with us showing us where everything was - kitchen, bathroom (how to use the shower - by the way - amazing - multiple shower heads that will spray you from every angle), gave us neighborhood tips, etc.
If I ever come back to Seattle, this will be my first choice for sure.
Angielena was warm and welcoming and the room was perfect! I was in town exploring different neighborhoods and I wanted to try out Georgetown. It had great bars/breweries for drinking, and coffee shops for writing. It's not too far from the airport, so you get a lot of airplanes overhead, but I liked being able to see the planes up close. The bathroom was amazing and the bed comfy. It was really cool to be staying somewhere with a kickass artistic community and mission. Would love to stay here again.

I am a visual artist who is the director of a Non profit community Arts and Cultural Center. The guests room are located in the Centers lovely 1904 building. I have been doing the renovations myself and I think you will enjoy my handy work. I enjoy animals, art and people.. . I am an easy going person but don't let people get away with much if they are behaving badly.. NO SMOKING IN BUILDING / NO VAPING/ NO POT …you can do all these things in our Smoking area outside. I am easily accessible if you need anything, I am happy to oblige most requests but I try to take Sundays off. I am also happy to help you plan a fun day here in Seattle. I even have a lonely planet guide to Seattle if you want to borrow it. Late arrivals (after 10 pm) should be managed before hand and also host requires chocolate or wine for late arrivals...after all if a girl cant get her beauty sleep at least she can have a glass of wine right?
Also no arrivals after midnight unless it is an international flight that has gone horribly wrong. Ill try to accomodate you no matter what but again, lets communicate before your arrival.
