The property is about 1 km from the Pompeii ruins, not too far to walk. Also close to the train station walking distance. The host and his parents were very kind and helpful! We had transportation troubles and ended up finally getting to Scafati late at night and the hosts picked us up so we didn't have to walk at night through the town. The place was very cute and comfortable. We had everything we needed, and the a/c was nice! Definitely recommend this place!

Matteo was absolutely wonderful! He came and picked my friend and I up from the bus station when we arrived and brought us to the house. Place was large and nice. The only problem we had is that there were a lot of ants everywhere.

Mateo was a gracious host and so helpful. We thought we would arrive at the train station close to the house and could walk but we were mistaken and our train arrived at the farther station. Mateo picked us up even when we arrived late at night. He even got up early to drive us back to station when we left, so very kind. He speaks very little English but that wasn't a factor as we managed quite well with translator app and texting. His place is so welcoming and has everything you need. There is cooking utensils but no seasonings if you are planning to cook. The place is close to town but you will have to walk, it is not far and very safe. It is a perfect place for two, although we noticed the chair pulled out to a sleeper so three could easily fit. Just a note for those unfamiliar with traveling to Italy, many places don't have toilet seats. There are toilets but often no seat so keep that in mind so you are not taken by surprise. I loved the old fashioned feel with the cupboards and dining hutch and dishes. The bathroom is modern and shower is good pressure. You really won't go wrong staying here.

Because I don't speak Italian Matteo and I had to communicate with a phone and language app. not easy for me who tends to be long winded, a little hard of hearing and overly descriptive but Matteo was very patient and spent a lot of time seeing to my needs. He picked me up at the train station, brought me back to my room to drop off my luggage and then drove me to the Scavi so I could tour the ruins. He even came back at 7 pm to pick me up after a long day of travel and touring. The next day he left me alone but did ask if there was anything I needed. The day I left he brought me to the train station before he went to work. My accommodations were roomy, clean and comfortable. It's a little out of the way but Matteo did everything needed to make me feel he was always at my disposal.

Matteo was a very courteous host. The first amazing thing was the meal he cooked for us when we arrove, it was amazing. The rest of our holiday he answered every single question we had very soon, that was great. The only thing that disturbed me a little was the long walk from the station of the circumvesuviana in pompei scavi. We had to take this one instead of the station in pompei because the train tracks were closed. At the end of our trip matteo drove us to our train station early in the morning. I really recommend to take this accommudation.

Matteo was the absolute perfect host. In fact, I should say "Matteo and his family", because during all our time at his place, he and his brother gave us many many lifts to the train station. Also, his mother gave us fruits from their own tree. He and his family were very warm and kind. We recommend this place to anyone because -It has a great location (there's a huge supermarket just across the street, it's close to 2 train stations, it's a walking distance to Pompei's excavations) -The studio is big and very clean -Matteo and his family are incredible Thanks a hundred time Matteo, we really enjoyed our stay and your help trough out the week. Ciao a tuti la familia xxx

This is a big, nice and clean place to stay. Matteo waited for us. His mother made us coffee. There was water and juice in the fridge. There is a big shopping center in the vicinity. You can walk to the ruins of Pompei and the train station to Naples. It is a good location for discovering Amalfi coast. We managed to communicate well, even though Matteo's English is not very good.
