Great location and lots of fun.

    A recommander.

  • Adorable hideaway in Costa Rica with incredible views that left us speechless. Regine was helpful in providing directions and responding to everyone of our questions. This little piece of heaven was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend this authenic and rustic abode for a taste of the true Costa Rica adventure experience.

  • The house and our stay was perfect. Regine wasn´t here, but we found everything without description. If you are looking for a lonesome place - it´s the best. during the night it was sometimes noisy because things were falling on the roof, first it was scaring but we get used to it! Once we had lunch in the neighbor-lodge (10 min. walk) - it was amazing and the best we ate in costa Rica!

  • This cabin was the most beautiful and lovely place on earth. Regine's dog even came for a visit on Christmas day. What a sweet heart. There were laundry room bats who kept me company and bananas fresh to make curry with. Walking on the roads was a great way to explore and it was central to so many wonderful hikes.
    Thank you Regine!!

  • I almost don't want to tell you how great a place this is and to keep it "my" secret. But that would be unfair. The area is wonderful. We ate our meals at the neighboring lodge and were able to benefit from the best of both worlds. The lodging is perfect. We were three -- 2 adults and a child, everybody loved it. Regine was very accessible and responsive. Our next visit will be a much longer stay here. And there most definitely will be a next time. Merci Regine!

  • This house is a unique experience you just have to make! It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere driving about 6 km on a gravel road just off the main road and that is just what we were searching for. It is a lovely wooden house, created with lot's of thoughts and love to make the stay nice and comfortable. It is basic and rustic, yes, but you have got everything you need and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are indoors and the rest is just outside on a big porch. Lying in the hammock you can see tucans and parrots in the evening or enjoy listening to the immense sound of the crickets. The forest starts just there and also a small river is flowing by. It's the incarnation of idyllic. Two very nice ticos live in their house just next door and a lodge is close by if you ever have a serious problem. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Regine, since she doesn't live there, but she made sure, we get the key and checked on us via phone (installed in the house) twice if everything is ok. We had a nice chat in French and she is a very nice and caring person. If you want to do the Rio Celeste hike to see the sulfur blue river and waterfall, this is the place to stay. The hike is just 7 km away and you get the full nature experience. Amazing stay!
