Medieval apartment in old Trastevere just by Piazza Santa Cecilia. Just across the bridge from the Tiber Island and the ancient Temple of Hercules Victor (2nd century BC). 10 minute walk to Piazza Venezia and Campidoglio (the birthplace of Rome). Trastevere is the heart of Roman nightlife with restaurants, cafes, and art boutiques. It is the part of Rome where musicians walk through the Labyrinth cobblestone streets while playing their violins. It's like being in a small village. Very genuinely Roman.
On the primo piano (or American 2nd floor) without elevator. The apartment is a studio with a comfortable queensized bed, dining table, and kitchenette (with complete cookware and dinnerware. The bed has a real queensized mattress (not two beds put together). Microwave, bread toaster, electric stove top, electric kettle. Bathroom with shower. Amenities include a washing machine, A/C, Wifi and the convenience of being in the heart of the Eternal City.
There is a late check in fee of 20euros for arrivals after 8pm (20h00).
After 10pm (22h00), the late checkin fee is 40euros.
NO checkins allowed after 12midnight (24h00).
Interaction with Guests
I will be meeting with each guest on checks-in day so that I can turn over the keys and explain all the amenities
Just below the apartment building are two cafes, an absolutely must-visit restaurant called Le Mani in Pasta, and a grocery store.
From this apartment's location, "everything" is walking distance away.
Unless communicated beforehand, all checkouts must be by 10am so that we may prepare the apartment for the incoming guests.
Joseph's apartment is the perfect Rome getaway! Situated in a quiet corner in one of the best neighborhoods in Rome, the suite is all the amenities one needs. I felt so comfortable staying here. There are two coffee shops right outside the house, as well as a tabaccheria where one can buy gum and bus tickets. Oh, and it's also conveniently located next door to a couple of the city's best restaurants: Le Mani In Pasta, which is directly across the lane, and Trattoria da Teo - both of which I dined at and enjoyed wonderful meals and hospitality. Speaking of which, Joseph was the consummate host! Friendly and on time, Joseph gave me a ton of tips, tricks and honest advice about exploring Rome, and definitely helped me enjoy my travels more. Thank you Joseph!
Everything was as described in the site, clean, quiet. In the apartment there were maps and guides of Rome, as well as umbrellas, quite proper for January weather. The restaurant downstairs as recommended in the profile was really good, but one should reserve a table in advance usually. The neighbourhood was great. We had very good time.
Joseph was very friendly.. Lovely neighbourhood close to everything and lovely clean apartment !
Thank you very much, really enjoyed stay
Great location near restaurants and bars. Friendly Italian and English speaking host. Always responds quickly to emails and was there waiting for us upon arrival. Would recommend to family and friends.
I spend 3 days in this apartment with my boyfriend. Joseph was a perfect host, he explain us very well things to know when we arrived. The apartment is very cosy and in a very good place.
I recommend ++ !!
The apartment was exactly how it was described. Joseph gave us a good description how we can find the place and was waiting for us in front of the apartment as he promised before. There are several perfect restaurants nearby and the neighborhood was lovely. The apartment has everyhting that you need during your stay, we only had problems with the WI-FI, the connection was unstable.
Super Platz für eineWoche in Rom . Joseph ,als zuverlässiger Gastgeber, hat uns mit seinem Appartment eine riesige Freude gemacht.
