This bed and breakfast is one of the best I've stayed in--and certainly the best Airbnb we've ever experienced. Jonathan and Lisa have created an oasis in an area of southern MA that's grandly historic, and offers a few pleasant hiking spots. The suite was immaculate and gorgeously decorated, with little details like toothbrush and toothpaste, a next door kitchenette, and clear instructions. The accommodations are above an owner-run Viennese restaurant, which--based on my travels to Austria--is authentic and exceptionally well executed, with flavorful mushroom sauces, thin schnitzel, and the crispest homemade spaetzle I've ever had (plus one non Austrian item I'm craving as I type this: an uber garlicky Caesar salad). Breakfast was also spectacular: crisp potato pancake, soft scrambled eggs, bacon cooked perfectly, and fresh tomato from the garden. We would definitely come here again.

Great stay. Fun and unique living space. In house food was phenomenal. Even my puppy ate like a king.

I stayed in the Sigmund Freud Suite. It was a brief, but very comfortable overnight stay. Recommended.

Enjoyed our stay in a very eclectic historic home. There downstairs restaurant really compliments and amplifies the atmosphere. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a more unique experience.

Do not expect a small private home with Breakfast.

Response from Lisa:
Dear Don, Not sure what you mean by your review. We are actually quite a large historic Inn, we serve breakfast on request. We didn't see much of you after you checked in and we are always available by text messaging your host if anything is needed. Our goal is to give you as much privacy and not to interfere with your stay as possible unless a guest requests it. I wish I was able to meet your expectations on the type of accommodations. We actually serve an amazing breakfast, we are both chefs! Regards, Lisa and Jonathan

We loved the Vienna Inn! We came in on Thanksgiving evening and the whole place was alive with wonderful music and great smelling food. We wished we had booked a meal there! The Freud, "Psycho," room was wonderfully decorated, comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I would recommend is not to stay on the third floor if you plan to work out of your bedroom, as we were not able to connect to the wifi from there. Though, there are open spaces on other floors that would accommodate that if we needed. We wish we could have spent more time there!! Such a cute place!

I'm a person with little time to get away from work. I appreciate the use of an interesting and relaxing place to escape, if only for a couple of days. Hiking, gardening, reading and sleeping are some of my favorite activities! I'm an easy traveler, preferring a light load and a nice music selection and great kitchen a plus!
