This is a truly unique area of Copenhagen just next to the historic canals, which make Chistianshavn so special and is with no doubt the most amazing area of Copenhagen filled with narrow, century old streets. It lies at the heart of the city - the harbor - with it's rare atmosphere. And of course Christianshavn has plenty of bars, restaurants and great shopping opportunities including food, art and design.
About Christianshavn: It's an artificial island founded in the early 17th century by Christian IV as part of his extension of the fortifications of Copenhagen. Originally, it was laid out as an independent privileged merchant's town with inspiration from Dutch cities but it was soon incorporated into Copenhagen proper. Dominated by canals, it is the part of Copenhagen with the most nautical atmosphere.

Great value for money, and no noise despite the central location and easy access to tourist sights. The bathroom is a bit small and old-fashioned, but it was not really a problem for us.
Had a great time and would rent again.
Very cosy, clean and modern apartment. Location is superb. Public transport; both bus and train are easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again!
