About this listing

The apartment has a small but well-equipped kitchen. And there are plenty of opportunities in the capital to buy Danish delicacies, local vegetables, fresh fish or maybe some Italien specialities. Try out Copenhagen Street Food just 5 minutes away.

The apartment is kept in a simple yet modern design. The bathroom is small but fully functional.

We'll charge no cleaning fee, because we hope our guests will leave our private apartment in good condition :-)

Enjoy a glass of champagne or a Danish beer on the balcony in the late afternoon sun, before you go for the few minutes walk along the scenic canals to some great food at Copenhagen Street Food.

There is a mini-supermarket just around the corner.

We are interested in renting out my flat for extended periods of time - several weeks or even longer.

The apartment is situated in the center of Copenhagen and close to almost everything and only 5 minutes walk to the Metro and 20 minutes to the airport.

This is a truly unique area of Copenhagen just next to the historic canals, which make Chistianshavn so special and is with no doubt the most amazing area of Copenhagen filled with narrow, century old streets. It lies at the heart of the city - the harbor - with it's rare atmosphere. And of course Christianshavn has plenty of bars, restaurants and great shopping opportunities including food, art and design.

About Christianshavn: It's an artificial island founded in the early 17th century by Christian IV as part of his extension of the fortifications of Copenhagen. Originally, it was laid out as an independent privileged merchant's town with inspiration from Dutch cities but it was soon incorporated into Copenhagen proper. Dominated by canals, it is the part of Copenhagen with the most nautical atmosphere.

I would easily recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Copenhagen. The neighborhood was great and most things you'd want to do are in a 20 to 30 minute walk Esser was also a great host and made sure I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here for 5 days and the position is perfect for getting to feel and see the culture of Copenhagen. You are so close to the street food market, the theatre, opera house, free town and many of the castles that there really is no need to use public transport. Just walk, hire bikes for the day or have a canal tour. Loved it here and I will be back.

Esser was super helpful with a PDF that was easy to read with instructions prior to arrival. The apartment was super centrally located, cute patio for morning coffee (and afternoon wine), and a short walk from the Metro. Everything was perfect. Thanks for a great trip !!

We want to be honest and say that this apartment is in a fantastic location, right next to the canals and bridge that leads to the city center, Nyhavn, Copenhagen Food Market, and everything you want. Nice balcony to enjoy as well. However, there were several complaints also. The bathroom is essentially the shower, so very little room. Only 2 old/stained towels, one hand towel & one big, were provided for us, even though we were 2 people and stayed 3 nights. There are no paper towels, and there was a bad sewage smell from the bathroom. You can also hear the neighbors upstairs from the bedroom. So while it's a great location, there were a few downsides.
