Bob made us feel very welcome upon arrival! All questions we had were answered the moment we stepped foot in our room. He had a list already prepared of how to get around, places to eat and a map of different wineries in the area. We were not bothered at all by the shared space and it was easily accessible. Thanks for sharing your space with us! Your dogs were really sweet too! :) We had a nice and relaxing time.
All the best,
We had the absolute BEST time in Sonoma! Bob's place is absolutely amazing and exactly what we were looking for. Bob made sure that every single thing you could possibly be need is available in the room (iron, fridge, microwave, wine opener - everything!). The garden was so beautiful and the room itself was so lovely. The bed was SUPER comfortable and the bathroom was perfect too. We absolutely would recommend staying here and hope we will be able to come back again one day! Thank you so much for everything!
This was my first Airbnb experience and I loved it. Bob was super responsive via email and text message and his space was perfect for a weekend in wine country. The private entrance and the use of his outdoor space was a great bonus. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Bob's place! They were located extremely conveniently from Sonoma Plaza and had a beautiful outdoor patio to enjoy our wine and farmers market treats! Plenty of towels and comforts to really feel at home. The maps and info about the region were also very helpful. Lattie Dah was the most beautiful pup also! Lots of privacy and peace here, thank you for a magical wine country experience!
We loved our stay at Bob's! He and his wife were very accommodating. They're home is very cozy, and the room is separate from the rest of the home so we still had privacy.
We checked in on the later side and Bob quickly and professionally welcomed us for our stay. Everything was exactly as advertised and wonderful. 10 out of 10. would stay again.
My wife and I (in our early 30's) stayed at Bob and Jackie's private room from May (phone number hidden). All around, we would rate the experience top notch.
Bob and Jackie have a single family home in the Temelec development, about 2 miles West of downtown Sonoma / square. It is a master-planned community which requires at least 1 member of the household to be over 55 years old. In other words, most people in the neighborhood are retired. As you might expect, the neighorhood / location is very quiet and secure. You wouldn't want to rent this room if you're planning on having loud parties, as it might feel a little awkward given the setting.
The room is housed in the back side of their single family home. As the listing states, there is indeed a private entrance to the right of their driveway, which enters you in to their garden/patio, which snakes around to the sliding private entrance to the room. Because of this, you have privacy, and don't feel bad about coming and going as you want to.
In the room, there is a private full bathroom, with a sink, shower, bathtub, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The bed is very comfortable. I would not recommend the room for more than 2 people, but it works great for a couple like us.

About the Host, Bob
"Tranquil & Secure" We moved here 9 years ago due to my older daughter's persuasive persistence. She thought we all should live closer to her so our relationship would remain close. We discovered Sonoma, fell in love with the town and the rest is history. We are all from Pennsylvania but in the past several years have enjoyed our West Coast (website hidden), dining out, wine tasting as well as art, tennis and reading are hobbies that to keep us busy. Family gatherings, friends and great experiences are what keeps us happy.
