A tranquil backyard space is included with your private suite located in the back of our home. The suite has a private entrance and pergola covered patio. The yard of mature trees and perennial shrubbery is completely fenced with a solid 5' wooden fence which adds privacy and security to your stay. The only sound you may hear at night is that of an old owl in a tree nearby. We are located within a nice group of homes tucked away and surrounded by wineries, vineyards and picturesque hills and vistas only 2-1/2 miles southwest of Sonoma Plaza. The 6 acre grassy area in the center of town is the largest plaza in northern California and is a great place to relax, have lunch or visit boutiques and shops. Wine tasting spots are plentiful and a wonderful Farmer's Market occurs every Tuesday and Friday.
Our home is centrally located to Napa, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Petaluma and Santa Rosa. The Golden Gate Bridge is one hour away and the Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon) is about 10 miles. We are in the most scenic and convenient part of town with wineries and great lunch stops scattered in and around our home all within 1/2 to 2 miles in all directions.

I had a great time staying at Bob and Jackie's home. Bob was there to greet us and kindly showed us the room, which had a private entrance at the back of their home. What a lovely place to stay! Bob and Jackie truly thought of everything that a guest might want and we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel--the room was very nicely decorated and the bed was luxurious and very comfortable. They supplied restaurant recommendations, maps of wineries in the area, and the room was equipped with a table, two chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, bowls, plates, glasses, and silverware.
Their yard and back patio was lovely and we were free to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Sonoma weather.
The house is conveniently located about a 10 minute drive (probably even less) to the Sonoma plaza and nearby wineries.
I highly recommend staying at Bob and Jackie's home!
Bob and Jackie made us feel extremely welcome and were perfect hosts. The house is in a really nice, quiet neighborhood on the edge of sonoma and is perfect for exploring the surrounding wineries as well as sonoma itself. The room is in a separate part of the house and has a private bathroom and entrance at the back of the house. It is really homely and comfortable with extra nice touches including a TV, wifi, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. The garden has a really nice seating area which we would have definitely taken advantage of if it didn't rain all weekend! Overall we had a great weekend and would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Bob and Jackies. The room was perfect for our needs. It was a weekend getaway to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was cozy, comfortable and clean with all the amenities needed. I also loved the art work in the room! I would definitely recommend staying there.
This is a great place, close to town. Fully furnished to complete your stay for a quick getaway weekend. We truly enjoyed our stay, even though most of the time was spent attending the activities we came into town for. We would have enjoyed your great outdoor patio area since it was a perfect warm weekend. We would definitely return....our best.
When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our host Bob, and given a thorough and detailed orientation about the house and the area.
Everything in our room was in good order and the facility was very quiet and comfortable.
We had very pleasant stay and would recommend this lodging for any couple that needs a place to stay that is conveniently located to all Wine Country attractions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob and Jackie's. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, but at the same time left us to our own devices. The accommodation itself was great; clean and cosy with a fantastic private terrace. It wasn't far from the centre of Sonoma, which we found much more appealing than Napa.
The place was fantastic - very easy to get to and an easy drive from everything you want to do and see in Sonoma. Bob was available for us when we arrived and we felt like we had all the privacy we needed while we stayed there. Really cute place that I highly recommend.

Robyn is our daughter ..she manages "Quick walk to Plaza"..our other airbnb suite is "Tranquil & Secure" which is managed by us...Jackie & Bob. We moved here 9 years ago due to my older daughter's persuasive persistence. She thought we all should live closer to her so our relationship would remain close. She was not moving back to Pennsylvania when she found work and a husband in San Francisco. We discovered Sonoma, fell in love with the town and the rest is history. We are all from the Philadelphia area but in the past several years have enjoyed our West Coast (website hidden), dining out, wine tasting as well as art, antiques, estate sales, tennis and reading are hobbies that to keep us busy. Family gatherings, friends and great experiences are what keeps us happy.
