  • This was the perfect location for our stay in BA. The mall and Recoleta cemetery are about a 15 minute walk. Port Madero is maybe 30 minutes. The apartment is exactly as described by others and very comfortable.
If you leave the building and turn right, there is a small grocery store about 50 paces away where you can buy most things including beer and wine. If you continue on to the end of the block, there are two fresh fruit and vegetable stores. Turn right, and a short way down the street is a bakery with all sorts of delicious goodies. Tip: You need a key to both enter and leave the building so it is very important to always have the keys with you. Another Tip: The stairwell lights are on a timer, to activate them, push the small orange button on the wall.

Overall it was a great experience. Thanks Ana!

What a great review Tim! I think your review will be very useful to future guests. Thanks a lot!!

  • Ana's apartment is just lovely. Spacious, clean, very nicely decorated and it has a very cosy little balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped and Ana even provided coffee and tea. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, so did the hot water (nice water pressure I must say!). The apartment is located very central and perfect if you want to explore the whole of the city (whereas Palermo Soho - where we stayed later on -, nice as it is, always meant taking a longer cab/tube ride to the other parts of town). Supermarkets/bakery/fruit stalls/restaurants and cafés just around the corner. We'd definitely try to stay there again next time! Many thanks, Ana!

Thanks a lot Jenny! You know if you come again to BA you have a place to stay! :)

  • Clean, roamy and comfortable place in what is probably the safest area in all of BA. Good super markets and fruit shops practically across the street, and loads of restaurants and bars for all wallets very nearby. Owner Ana couldn´t meet us in person, but her aunt was friendly enough to meet with the keys and really went out of her way to help us out in any way she could, despite the language barrier. Highly recommended!

Thanks a lot for your words Lars!!

  • I had such a great time at Ana's apartment in Recoleta. It was exactly as advertised, and she was very helpful, both before I arrived and while I was there, answering all my questions quickly and accurately. It was my first visit to Argentina, and it was nice to know that help was just a quick text away if needed. The apartment is lovely, clean, well-appointed, and within walking distance of so many things. I would happily stay there again if I get back to Buenos Aires.

Thank you so much for your words Michael. It was a pleasure to host you in my apartment!

  • My parents and me had a wonderful stay in Ana's apartment. It was central so we could reach everything easily by foot or by bike! Her aunt welcomed us warmly and explained a lot about the city+transportationsystem+restaurants, which was a great start in such a beautiful and big city. Everything works perfecly in the apartment: kitchen, bathroom, aircondition (which you need in summer in BA), so we were completly happy with our stay. Also the check in and out times were flexible so that we did not have to wait and could leave whenever we wanted! I can defenetivly recomend to stay in Recoleta with Ana when you are in Buenos Aires!!:-)

Thank you so much for your review Carolina!!!! :)

  • Loving getting to know new cities, we stayed in Ana's apartment for two weeks. Lots of room, with a balcony for eating on or watching the world of Buenos Aires go by, the apartment was very well equipped and all simply but very tastefully decorated. Ana was always on hand for suggestions to local restaurants and things to do. we would thoroughly recommend the apartment, a home from home and the perfect place to be absorbed by such a wonderful city. Thank you guys for the review, hope you continue enjoying your trip!!!!

  • The location is great! We spent 10 days in the apartment and found it to be a great base for exploring the city. There are many places for grocery shopping, if like us you like to cook at home, just around the corner. There is good space for two people and the sofa bed in the living room could accommodate a third with no problem. The kitchen is fully equipped, internet worked well, all in good order. The host provided excellent communication before and during our stay. All in all a very good option in BA. One point that could be a negative is street noise which is constant, we always travel with ear plugs so for us there was no issue.

Thank you so much for your review David!! And yes, BA is a noisy city :(

  • Ana's apartment is perfect! We had a lovely time having breakfast on the veranda. We also cooked in one night. It is conveniently located in Recoleta. She makes sure to have coffee and tea ready for you. There is so much closet space. Having WiFi is awesome as well. I would definitely stay there again. It was my favorite part of Buenos Aires!

Thank you so much for you words Benjamin, Its very nice to read that you spent a good time in the apartment!

  • We stayed in Ana's apartment for 10 days and it worked perfectly for us as first-time visitors to Buenos Aires. The location is great, in a safe neighborhood and located within walking distance from many places we wanted to go. The apartment was bright and well-equipped and had everything we needed. There is a balcony where we often sat outside and watched the activity in the neighborhood. It is not on a major street but there is still some traffic noise - but I think you will find that to be the case no matter where you stay in this noisy city. (Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.) Ana was very helpful, not only regarding the apartment but also with other questions. We recommend her apartment without hesitation!

  • The apartment was spacious and located in one of the best neighborhoods in BA. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook and there was plenty of closet space to fully unpack. Best part was that I ended up forgetting my phone and Ana was sweet enough to work with me to mail it back. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

About
I love to travel and I´ve travel a lot. I think its wonderful to know different cities, people and its culture. By travelling I learned how important is to stay in a comfortable and cozy place near the citie´s most important spots. My appartment in Recoleta is 7 blocks from de famous Cementery and Del Pilar Church, 5 blocks from Callao Ave, 3 blocks from Santa Fe Ave, 3 blocks from Las Heras Ave. Is near everything.
