This Suite is located in the Heart of the East Village. Steps away is the 2nd Ave. Subway Station. From here you can be anywhere in Manhattan including Times Square, Central Park, Fifth Ave, Empire State and Chrysler Buildings, Brooklyn Bridge, Chelsea, Meat Packing, Fashion and Financial Districts and other attractions in less than 10mins.
Just blocks away is the fashionable Soho, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, and Chinatown. And just around the corner you will find a wide variety of restaurants, trendy shops, and sophisticated bars. We provide the ideal and strategic location to conduct business or enjoy the art galleries, theaters, museums, and the night life of East Village. There is also a Wholefoods Supermarket a couple blocks away.
Myself and two friends stayed in the East Village apartment this December. We were met by Zac as soon as the taxi dropped us off, even though we were slightly later than we had anticipated, he even carried my luggage up the stairs to the apartment. He told us everything we needed to know, handed us two sets of keys and insisted if there was anything we needed to know or ask just to give him a call. Our overall first impression of Zac and the apartment was a very positive one. The apartment itself resembled the photos exactly which was great. The apartment was also very clean and tidy. We personally couldn't find any fault. The area was good and we found a couple of really great places for breakfast before hopping on the subway, the nearest station was literally a two minute walk so you could be anywhere in Manhattan within minutes! Although we spent little time in the apartment it would still be great if you were intending on cooking yourself meals as there was a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need and more. Although the bathroom was small it was clean and tidy and we all had plenty of clean towels so it was great for us.
The beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets if we needed them. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here if you want a clean, tidy, reasonably priced modern apartment and don't mind hopping on the subway. Oh and nearly forgot the views from the roof terrace were incredible, definitely worth climbing the flights of stairs!
The reservation was canceled 56 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a lovely stay at this apartment. We preferred to be away from Times Square and in a neighbourhood with more of a 'local' feel, so the location was perfect, with lots of cute restaurants and wine bars nearby. We were in the fourth floor apartment rather than the one depicted, but it was just as nice and extemely clean and well presented. As a group of 5 it was close quarters but we expected this and found the apartment excellent value for money, with WiFi included, and a change of towels provided during our stay. Ram was very helpful meeting us on arrival and helping with our luggage up the stairs. Would certainly recommend this apartment.
Schönes Appartement in hervorragender Lage. Perfekte Abwicklung. Nette Vermieter. Bad ein bisschen klein - ansonsten alles sehr gut!
This apartment was really gorgeous, fully self-contained (including a washing machine and dryer) and really modern. The location was great too (ignore the fact that it's next door to the Hell's Angels - we didn't see or hear anything unusual!).
And, to top it off, the manager, Zach, was brilliant! My sister's bag didn't arrive on her plane, so we were in constant contact with Zach waiting for her bag to be delivered by the airline. Zach was really proactive and so helpful (and he carried my sister's bag from their office to our apartment....up 4 flights of stairs!).
I absolutely loved this apartment, and will definitely stay there again next time I visit New York.
Well maintained/ clean apartment, friendly staff and great location (within walking distance of a lot of nice bars, restaurants and shops and near the F-(email hidden).) As a couple we stayed in the Vishnu loft, which was – in our opinion – much more comfortable and relaxing then staying in a hotel.
Great area to be in for restaurants. Spent 5 nights here.
The worst was the 5 flights of stairs to climb to get to our room. Loved The Bean coffee shop on the corner. No problem with being next to the Hells Angels. Did experience a loud hit and run to a parked car just below our window one night. Would stay again but would like one on a lower level. Great experience!
This East Village place was a really nice spot to have a reprieve from the day of sight seeing and touring. Mario had a rep meet us within 5 mins of arrival. We had to drop out luggage for storage at a place about 10 min walk with our suitcases but that was the only inconvenience we had during our stay. We would stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well. Thank you!!
For those who want cheap accommodation in a great location, this is the place for you. We were on the top floor which was tough but we welcomed the execrcise given all the food we were eating. Zach the manager was wonderful and so helpful. WiFi not so great but there is a coffee bean cafe 50 metres away which has free WiFi so not that was not much of an issue. It is right next door to Hells Anegels Head Qaurters, at first I was concerned, but we did not see one person come out of there so it was no problem at all. It was great I really recommend for any budget traveller I wpoudl definately stay here again!!
Would like to have given it 3.5 stars. Overall, we had a good experience. The service was good and the place was really as advertised.
- Good service, from booking to help with our bags and useful information upon arrival
- Close to 2nd Ave subway
- Nice, comfortable beds
- Noise from inside the building was minimal. Meaning, the neighbors were not noisy.
- Loved the interior brick. The place was in good condition generally and it was nice to have a washer/dryer in the room.
- Windows in the bedroom were not well sealed, which led to drafty winds (actually enough to blow the curtains one windy morning) and quite a bit of exterior noise.
- Tight quarters for five people.
- Apartment is located on the 5th floor and the building has no elevator. (this is fully disclosed in the listing) This means you are hiking 4 flights of pretty steep stairs every time you want to go to the apartment. Worked out fine for our family, but wouldn't recommend it for anyone with bad knees, back or anything else that would limit your mobility.
- Hot water pipe in the bathroom was very hot. It's avoidable, but we inadvertently bumped into it a time or two and you knew it.
Again, overall we had a very good experience. We didn't want to stay right in Times Square area and this turned out to be a good option for us. Note that if you do intend to spend the majority of your time in NYC in the Times Square/Rockefeller area, there are probably better options. But still, if you're comfortable riding the subways (as we are), you're only 4 stops on the F train from Times Square and 5 to Rockefeller (or about 10 minutes).
