About This Listing
If you have plans in Napa, Sonoma, Yountville, or St. Helena my guest rooms will fit into your plans perfectly! You will have your own private room or rooms and bathroom and in fact the entire upstairs all to yourself!
I am close to First Street which takes you directly to downtown Napa and to Highway 29 which takes you throughout the entire Napa Valley. There are also parks with hiking trails close to my home with views of the Valley.
The main guest room has a memory foam queen size mattress with soft sheets and a cozy comforter for that comfortable Napa feel. A large flat screen TV with cable sits on a dresser with drawers ready for your belongings.
If you are traveling with another couple, friend or family member, I do have a large second guest bedroom with a queen bed and television to offer as well. Both bedrooms are upstairs so you will still have your privacy. There is additional charge for the other guest room and it is booked by how many you put on your reservation. Please feel free to reserve up to four people. If you want the two rooms with only two people in the reservation please let me know and I can explain how to reserve it.
There is a coffee and water station right outside your room. You'll find shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer for your use in the bathroom (towels too!). Whereas the upstairs is yours to enjoy, the downstairs is not shared. If you need to refrigerate anything I will be happy to do so in mine.
I also have two small dogs. They are quiet but will most likely want to greet you when you come home. They are not allowed upstairs.

Interaction with Guests
I will greet you and explain what the room has to offer but then you will be on your own to come and go as you please.
The neighborhood is very quiet. People have often commented on how quiet it is. Not at all like metro living but more of a suburan/country feel but close to all the fun things to do!
There is a bus line that you can pick up on First Street. Napa offers taxi service as well as private drivers you can hire to take you to your wine tasting experience.
Other Things to Note
Parking is in front of the house so it is easy to handle your luggage right into the house!
Check in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. Please park in front of the house. This makes it very easy to bring in luggage. Thank you!
Great stay, great rooms, great host. Thanks for having us over!
Julia was a very welcoming host. Everything that you need was provided (shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, towels, coffee, tea, etc).
We had both rooms and the bathroom upstairs, so our stay was very private. The house is within 5-10 mins drive from downtown Napa and all the dining options.
Amazing experience at Julia's home. Very beautiful home and was very welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Also, very close to the Napa Outlet which was convenient! I will definitely tell friends about Julia's and recommend that they stay there.
Julia could not have been more accommodating. She has a beautiful home, minutes from downtown Napa. Everything was incredibly clean and obviously prepared with guests in mind. Unbelievable bed - we didn't set an alarm and woke up at 9:30! Julia provided us with fresh water and coffee upstairs outside our private room, which was really a nice touch. My wife and I had a lovely stay and felt as though we were hosted by a family friend. She was so easy to contact and very warm. What a great Napa experience!
The house is really nice! Our host is very warm-hearted and very considerable. She gave us many tips of riding a balloon. And we left very early that morning, she got up to say goodbye! I've never seen such a nice lady!
Two friends and I traveled to Napa and stayed in Julia's house. It's a lovely home with nice bedrooms. The beds were spacious and comfortable. Julia was very pleasant and helpful. Front door was easy to get in and out of with digital lock solution. If you want to stay near downtown Napa this is a great location for you. The immediate neighborhood is not the most hip or modern but the proximity to downtown is nice (plus shops if you want to hit the outlets). It's a quiet neighborhood for the most part. Just one recommendation, bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to street noise (and you sleep with the windows open). Otherwise very pleasant stay.
