Nous avons passé deux jours fabuleux à Edimbourgh, grâce à Eddie! Elle est très prévenante et attentionnée! La chambre correspond parfaitement au descriptif, le lit est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment délicieux! Thanks Eddie for those amazing days!
Eddie (Brett's mum) is the most wonderful host I have ever met. She prepared a delicious breakfast of eggs, salmon, croissant, and a fresh fruit salad.
The room itself was really comfortable and tidy, and the apartment is well located. I couldn't fault the experience and will highly recommend that those coming to Edinburgh stay here.
Eddie also has a great collection of porcelain dogs.
Bret's Mom was our host. She is a very sweet Thai lady. She provided us a restaurant quality full English breakfast. The location is good, only 20 mins walk to old town. Or you can easily take the bus No.2 right outside the community.
My colleague and I had a very pleasant conference-stay at Brett's app.. His mother Eddie took care off us, made a delicious breakfast, was there in the morning to wish us a nice day and was there in the evening to wish us a good nigh!! Thank you!!
Communication with Brett was good. His Mum, Eddie, was an excellent host - very accommodating and eager to assist in any way. Good breakfast. Room a bit of a tight fit - not a problem for us on a one-night stay. Centrally located with main city sights within walking distance.
My stay at Brett's place was wonderful. His mom Eddie is a gem and seriously the nicest woman I have ever met. She really made me feel at home and provided great company. Also, her breakfast was just amazing! The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and lovely. I would really recommend staying here if you're visiting Edinburgh.
This booking was fantastic!!
It is close enough to town to walk and bus and tram services are there if required.
The room and the breakfast should get a Michelin Star!
The host was very welcoming and great hospitality.
This was a nice stay. Brett's mother, who will be your actual host, is a lovely and kind person. The room is great and the fact that is was en suite was definitely a plus. When I first arrived, I felt to be rather off the beaten track because in other stays in Edinburgh, I have been on the other side of the city, near Holyrood Park. But, in fact, this room is a pleasant and short walk to the centre of town and there are lots of buses and the new tram nearby. It's also a short walk to Haymarket train station and it was nice to be in a neighborhood that was less tourist-y than other places I have stayed in Edinburgh.
Had a wonderful stay with Brett's Mum Eddie she was so welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect we could walk to everything and if you didn't wish to walk there was a bus stop right near the apartment and buses easy to use.
The pictures describe the room very well and when booking Brett was easy to communicate with.
Eddie's breakfast was amazing couldn't have asked for better service, she made sure everything was to our satisfaction and also asked if we had any special requests.
I would recommend this stay to anyone who would love to see Edinburgh
Eddie was a most gracious hostess! We had a lot of rain the afternoon and evening we arrived so her directions to the nearest restaurants were greatly appreciated :-) the flat is very conveniently located to the Royalmile and other sites of Edinburgh- although I had done research as to what sort of happenings were going on in Edinburgh for the day we were there I found it to be a lull. Low and behold when we left Edinburgh castle we could see and hear all sorts of bagpipes and engines revving and people cheering. The gumball 3000 road rally was beginning in Edinburgh that day!! Totally cool to see all the cars from all the nations :-)
