Charming studio for 2-3 people.
Ideally located 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Festival and 1 minute from the local Market, where you can buy local produce, fish and meat.
The bathroom with a shower is newly renovated with a separate toilet.
The kitchen is in a good condition and has a "bar" with dining space for two people.
The living room has a single "bed"/sofa and a sofa-bed, which sleeps two.
It should be noted that 3 people is a lot in this small studio, however, it is possible.
It is located 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station and the airport express bus.
Airport pickup / drop-off is possible at 89€ during conferences (each way).
Maison agréable et bien située. Les enfants pouvaient aller seuls à la plage. Nous avons passé un très bon moment d'autant que le soleil était avec nous. Nous recommandons la maison de Mickael.
Nice and fairly clean studio. We did enjoy staying there. However, the only thing is: be aware that Rue d'Antibes is one of the most busy streets in Cannes. So, as nice as it is to sit on the balcony - enjoying a romantic dinner is often disrupted by motorcycles, trucks and Porsches (a lot in Cannes) - also since there is a traffic light pretty much in front of the house making them wait for a green light - it's pretty loud!! So you also have to keep the window shut at night if you don't want to sit up straight in bed at 3:30 or 4 a.m.
But other than that it is a nice and upscale area, there is a daily market near where you can shop, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the beach/croisette is just a short walk. Michael is very nice, helpful and reliable.
Over all I think the apartment is a bit too expensive, too loud and too busy. We stayed at another place in Le Suquet last year for less money, which was more charming and much quieter.
Great hosts... really friendly... the apartment was perfect and good location. Slight odour in the bathroom but apart from that a great base to enjoy Monaco from.
Our holidays in nykobing were very recreaive and we had a good time in the beautiful house with garden. Our daughter loved it to go to the swing every morning. We only had to be careful, because the swings are not as steady as they should....
The House itself is very comfortable equipped and we didn´t miss anything. For two couples and a child it was perfect, but when all beds are occupied it whould be a bit tight.
The beach is nearby and ok for swimming before breakfast, or something like that. For a hole day on the beach we had to go some minutes by car and reached the perfect beach; nice sand, liveguards, beautiful water for the hole family, a kiosk, dunes....very, very nice!
First we had some problems with the fridge and the electricity-but Michel was very kind and everything was fixed very fast and uncomplicated.
All in all we had a great time and hope to come back one day! Thanks for this!
This is a great villa with a wonderful pool (where we stayed most of the time). We were a group of eight persons (four adults, two teenagers, two kids) and had a very good time. All areas are big enough for eight persons.
Michael is a wonderful host. He picked us up at the bus in Cannes and gave us a ride to the house. He had a lot of helpful tips about the house and the surroundings. When a couple of things broke he came by the next day and tried to fix them.
It is true that the house is only 50m off the beach (as the bird flies; at night you can hear from your bed the waves breaking on the beach), but you need to walk a bit longer and you need to cross the main road (there is no way to let the kids run to the beach on their own). On the beach there are a couple of nice restaurants plus all sorts of water sports stuff to rent.
A small supermarket which really has all you need (albeit a bit more expensive) is in less that 10 min walking distance.
We chose the ‘with linen’ option and were very happy about it because Michael provided a lot of towels and we did not have to be stingy with using a fresh one.
Eight of the beds were pretty good but the last two beds I would not want to use: the bedrooms is souterrain [built into the mountainside], with a small window, dark and musty.
And yes, the house is ‘scruffy’: It must have been a bit neglected for quite some time now: You see the great substance, but cheap additions and transitional repairs (e.g. a broken chair fixed with rope, an old table painted over but paint flaking off, etc.) Everything is a bit run down (lavatory flushes leaky, dishwasher half broke, showers without doors, flowers around the pool there but wilted, a dead tree, beach chairs ripped, doors not opening or closing). Michael says that this is reflected in the price which would be twice as high if the all this was fixed.
Most areas of the house were clean but peripheral areas were not clean (e.g. kitchen patio). Luckily there is so much space that we just did not use the not clean parts. According to Michael there is a more expensive cleaning option which would be more thorough but we had just booked what was offered in airbnb.
Considering the decent price of the house you get a good deal with it.
Bring mosquito repellent!!!
Nice stay in a very clean and convenient flat. Location is very good, short walking distance from the Croisette and the Suquet area, but because it is in rue d'Antibes by traffic lights, it is also very noisy. Michael was a helpful host.
I hold Michael responsible for the worst residential experience I have ever experienced. The flat was as promised and Michael was attentive, but the owner came home, woke me up in bed, and accused me of thievery. This is a big angry man who threw me out of his apartment after I had already paid for it. It was in the last hour of the arrangement, but this "wires crossed" scenario was unacceptable. The guy called the police. I cannot vouch for Michael's role in this, but it is his responsibility and it happened. Yeah, worst ever experience.
Great appartment, very good located, safe building. Micheal was absolutely great and very helpful, can highly recommend it! Peter
Fantastic location, comfortable and clean, the apartment was the perfect base for us whilst attending Cannes Lions week. An easy to walk to the Palais and Croisette amd surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Michael was a great host, really helpful and reliable. No hesitation recommending, we had a great experience. Thanks!
