Great place. 2 floors. Planty of space. Beautiful bathroom with bathtub and shower. Open the doors by the canal and you feel like you are on a beautiful boat. Next to everything important in Amsterdam.
Thank you Mulan for your kindness!
Fantastic location! Very close to museums and restaurants. When you walked in off the city street you felt like you were home. We were visiting with our older teenager, and the apartment had lots of room and was very comfortable. Mulan stayed in touch and was great about letting us know what to expect and helpful with information on getting to the house.
Great location for getting a feel of living in Amsterdam. Close to the Rijks and Van Gogh. Close to some food restaurants, cafes and a bakery.
Mulan's flat is great. We had one teen use the pullout twin up in the loft where we slept and the other had one of the Murphy beds. He chose the couch downstairs but has the option of the pull down.
Very spacious and the kitchen/dining was perfect. We could easily live here!
Full shower and a bath were clean and spacious.
Mulan was gracious and responsive. Couldn't ask for more. My family loves every minute of it.
We arrived on friday at 10:30 in the evening. Mulan was great, she showed us around the flat, and even had some written information about where we could buy fresh bread and an organic food shop in the neighborhood. And where we could buy breakfast.
Mulan was great, and so was the place. The location was brilliant.
We would definitely come back. The apartment was super clean, and perfect for four people out traveling together.
We were met punctually and graciously. House was immaculate and host was very helpful with advice on city and surrounds.
We really enjoyed our stay at this place near the Rijksmuseum. The location was very convenient - close to Leidseplein square and 197 bus to Schipol Airport, right across street from Rijks- and Van Gogh museum, great bakery and outstanding grocery store just footsteps away. The apartment itself is huge and the best part is the kitchen/dining area with high ceiling opening to a canal and well-furnished kitchen. We really didn't want to leave it during the day! I think host Mulan takes great care of the place and guests and thoughtfully got some granola and milk for us. Thus I think this place would be great for families. The only think I'd note is that 1 of the bathroom doors is on the low side - but it has 2 doors so you don't need to use it, and only a problem if you're 6ft or over.
I stayed there for 2 nights with my family and honestly feel that we could not have chosen a better place for us for the following reasons:
-a lovely, helpful and kind host, Mulan, who was very prompt at responding to my queries and gave us directions to certain places we wanted to go or find (she was so kind!);
-a very spacious, clean and beautiful house/apartment which was more than enough for 4 of us to stay and relax;
- a very convenient location being close to Van Gough Museum and Rijksmuseum which was perfect for us as we wanted to go to these museums early in the morning; and
-easy access to and from the airport and the central station.
These are some of the reasons why we loved Mulan's place! It is as described on the airbnb listing and if we have another opportunity to visit, we will not look at anywhere else!
